I am a current student at PACT. Now I know there are many bad reviews of this school, most of them aren’t recent. These past two years at PACT have been the best years of my school career. I transitioned from coon rapids middle school to PACT, and I’m very glad I did. The teachers are passionate about the subjects they teach, are willing to give students one-on-one communication and time, and see the student and their circumstances. The small school is able to make sure that every student is seen and feels seen.

PACT has had issues in the past with many things, I’ll be the first to say that. But the progress they’ve made in the last few years is ASTOUNDING. The staff and teachers care about our kids and encourage them to think critically and for themselves. I am so excited for the expansion and to bring more students in our community to this school, offering a variety of classes and opportunities we haven’t had in the past! We also love the parent involvement and open lines of communication between parents and staff. Excited to see where we are in a few years from now, as we are definitely trending upward from where we were a couple years ago!

Our family has attended 4 different schools. pact is by far the worst school our kids have attended. Communication is disorganized and a lot of misinformation is circulated leaving students and parents confused and frustrated. Transportation is disorganized. The technology at the school is decades behind the other schools we've attended. There's no school nurse, so if your child is injured, ill, or has medication needs, pact is a dangerous place for your child. They use untrained personnel to administer prescription medications. Bullies really do rule the school as other reviews have talked about. Some teachers are okay, nothing special. However, they praise the mildest of "extra effort" a teacher may display when actually, the teachers and staff we've encountered at public schools have been much better. Pact hires "moms" with no license to be teachers. Administrators at pact are the lowest level of human beings. I agree with the student comments below as well - the pact culture is detrimental to student mental health and confidence. I've never seen anything like it.

A very bad place to send your kid. Parents see the advertising and think it’s the best thing in the world but can’t see it from our eye. Please, don’t send any of you kids here!!! In just one year I had developed depression and one year later am still dealing with the aftermath of this.

Many comments on this page are prior to the 2017-2018 school year. PACT has a new administration, new teachers, and a new focus. Great things are happening. Hold on tight -- it's gonna be a great year!

I attended this school. The facilities were extremely poorly equipped in all areas. The faculty were not very knowledgeable or skilled at teaching. I recall an english class where nobody knew the class even had a teacher until after a week because she didn't feel comfortable interrupting all the students talking to each other and didn't look any older than a typical high school senior.

PACT Charter School is a school that looks good on the outside but has many internal problems. This year their own employees stole thousands of dollars from the school and no one even noticed which hurts the entire school, programs and moral. The staff does not address any issues parents have with students or teachers. The bullying problem at PACT is not dealt with and if you report any issues you will be made out to be the bad guy. Administrators and staff gossip all the time, I have personally witness this. The school is not run well.

The elementary was fine. Middle school and high school were pretty bad, from unchecked bullying to severely limited AP and extracurricular options to lower than promised academic standards.

Secondary school at PACT is a very ineffective school that is very clicky with parents and teachers and staff. They Do NOT deal with bullying of thier students and make the students out to be bad if they report issues they are having. Teachers, staff and students will not take you seriously if you report bullying. This school needs alot of change!

PACT is a wonderful School! I love the small school family like environment. They learn character qualities and reward students who are a good example of that quality. In elementary there is not a ton of homework which is great so there is more time for family and play. High parent involvement is strongly encouraged and it shows in the school with everything they do, parents are involved. Would highly recommend this school! Only negative for me is the half day kindergarten but some see that as a plus for their kids. Small price to pay for 1 year at a great school! My kids absolutely love PACT
