Biggest problem is behavior problems disrupting the classrooms and field trips. I have seen this first hand as a parent who volunteered on multiple field trips. These distractions I believe contribute to less learning and low test scores. We pulled our children out of this school and put them into a charter school as a result of These problems. I would not be surprised if attendance is reducing as more families do the same and unfortunately the good families are the ones leaving.

Having two children in the school, being a professional teacher myself, and from discussions I have had with neighbors regarding Franklin, I would put it up against any other elementary school in the State. Children have so many activities to pick from, the Principal is amazing, the teachers hone the crafts of best practice and really use the curriculum to build character and personal qualities in each and every student. I heart Franklin Elementary.

Franklin is fantastic! Their teachers are caring, creative and welcoming. The principal does a fantastic job. It is a nice school located in downtown Anoka.

All three of my children attended Franklin. They had some of the best teachers I have ever met.
