Wonderful school! My child moved to St. Timothy's for middle school and it has been a great experience. The middle school years can be tough socially at any school, but the administration and teachers at St. Timothy's handle these situations with care and expertise. The academics, athletics and other extracurricular opportunites have exceeded our expectations. The teachers and administrators are excellent and truly care about the students. Highly recommend!

We have been at St. Timothy's for 7 years now. I have one child with learning differences and two without. Words can't begin to describe how amazing the school and their whole system has been for my children. They are all thriving in their own ways. I also had a medical issue in the past years and the support for my children and my family were something I have never seen in a school community before. The love and guidance for my children was bar none and the support for the family the same. The SEL program is wonderful and the children really learn to be good stewards of their community, near and far. I also appreciate the full time safety staff, they are wonderful and kind, and really do take the safety of the students so seriously. They know me well, but if I am on campus without my Visitors badge, they send me to the front office! Love them! The family community is something we talk about all the time. We say that its wonderful and new parents don't always believe us, but after just a few weeks as a parent here, you feel it immediately! If you are looking for an academically challenging school, with teachers who love and care for your children, this is the place to be!

We have been at St. Timothy's for 6 years and have had a wonderful experience. The school has a great community feel that makes it easy to be involved and get to know the teachers, faculty, and other parents as well. The academics are challenging without being overwhelming. There can be quite a bit of homework some nights but part of what the school teaches is time management and organization so this does help keep the homework at a manageable level most of the time. Socially, there are many opportunities for the students to interact with one another - either in the classroom with group projects and classroom participation, or at lunch and recess, through clubs, sports (either playing or watching and supporting the school), field trips, school dances for middle school and class socials. All three of my kids have thrived at St. Timothy's and we are very grateful for all the school has done to give my kids a great foundation for high school and beyond.

Great lower school. Middle school can be tough years. Administration and teachers care a lot. Parents not super involved. Great facilities for what they are working with in terms of space. Good athletic choices for all students.

STS is a top notch school! We moved to the triangle a few years back, had a terrible first month at another school. St. Timothy’s understood my child’s transition from moving and ran with it. Our second grade teacher was literally godsend. Our 3rd grade teachers were a perfect fit for my child as we saw amazing growth this year! We haven’t had any issues with other students that weren’t simply kids being kid, those small issues were quickly resolved by the teachers. Staff and administration have always been transparent and couldn’t have done a better job with Covid! A True Blessing!

Unchecked bullying in multiple grade levels. Kids gang up on other children. Administration and teachers look the other way.

There is a very real sense of pride and place in this school. You feel it as you step on the grounds. St Timothys is and always will be home. Your child will be known, and shown Faith, Hope, and Love while receiving an excellent education. The Teachers, and Staff are great. They have always been responsive to my children and any question I have raised. My children have been at this school since prekindergarten and third grade, respectively. They were very helpful with my child's mid-year transition in the third grade. My children always feel welcome and known. Truly known, not just another student passing through. The Educators and Staff learn and care about your child, while teaching and equipping them with the skills they will need in the future. St. Timothy's School does a good job of balancing emotional, spiritual, and academic learning. Homework can be heavy at times, but they are willing to work one on one if needed. Our children love this school and are thriving.During COVID, the efforts at the school to protect the students and the larger school community as a whole, have been fantastic. As a result, they have been able to offer children one of the safest learning environments possible. See more on their Covid efforts in a story on cbs17. Everyone should be commended for their tireless hard work and dedication over the past year. We are so fortunate that our children have had the chance to continue to learn and grow with their friends through the pandemic, with mostly in-person instruction. As a former alumnus from the 80's, I have seen a lot of changes to the campus and school since I was there, but the traditions, love and community continue to flourish.

School is not focused on developing kids and managing the group of bully kids they have enrolled. The leadership model is to squelch those kids who are bullied. Teachers are all over the place, but seems to be a training ground for entry level. If your kid has any interest in sports, the school has very little space or facilities.

The best kept secret in Raleigh! Until now! My children are thriving, academically, socially, and emotionally. The staff and faculty are phenomenal and treat your children with the utmost respect. It is an amazing community of parents and students, and we could not be happier with our choice to become St. Timothy's Titans!

This is our fourth year at St. Timothy's. We have been extremely pleased with the academic and emotional support our daughters have received. The teachers and administration seem to truly care about the students, both on an educational and personal level. They are doing a fantastic job helping them build a solid foundation for learning and good character. I would highly recommend St. Timothy's.

St Timothys is not just a school for my children but a home. The teachers, support staff and parents are like an extended family. I have a tremendous sense of peace and joy when I think of the excellent learning and nurturing environment that is at St Timothys. My children are first and fourth graders and have been at this school since they were 4.5 years old in prekindergarten. I cannot think of a better place for my children to grow emotionally, spiritually or academically. The teachers go above and beyond to assist and prepare the kids. My choice for St Timothys has only been further solidified during COVID. The relentless pursuit by the school to protect our children and offer them the safest learning environment has been impressive to say the least. Best decision ever!

Our family cannot recommend St. Timothy's School enough. This is our fourth year at STS. We have a second grader and one in their pre-k program. Our oldest started in their pre-k program and has flourished not only in her academics but in her character development at well. Yes, as parents we teach this at home but STS help develops these important traits too! All of our teachers have worked with both of our girls to help teach them at the level that they need to be taught. Our teachers have always welcomed any questions or concerns that we have and helped us with anything we may need. Our administration is wonderful! During COVID and the shutdowns, our education has not been compromised and our health and safety have been their top priority, I cannot say enough about the family environment of the school. It is one of those places that when you walk in the doors, it just feels right. It is a big family. There are plenty of opportunities for parents to be involved, which was important to our family. St Timothy's has given not only my children a safe and nurturing place to get a wonderful education and as a parent, I could not be more thankful for such a wonderful school!

We moved our student to St. Timothy's in 3rd grade, after a very trying 2nd grade year in public school. We realize how lucky we are to have that option. Our student has flourished at St. Timothy's! The teachers and administration are so very responsive, caring and proactive. We can't recommend St. Timothy's enough, it's a wonderful school and a wonderful environment for our student.

I am so happy with our decision to send our children to St. Timothy’s School. Not only are the teachers excellent they are also kind and caring. Your child is not just another student. Both of my kids are thriving.

Our two children really enjoy attending St. Timothy's School. We have found it to be a very warm community where our children have flourished. We are thankful for each of the teachers and administrators at the school. We are also thankful for the school's leadership this past year during the pandemic as we never once felt unsafe sending our children to STS. We cannot recommend the school highly enough and look forward to being Titans for many years to come.

We have loved our experience at STS. Most of my friends have had at least one major issue within their public school and we haven't had any. The teachers care about my child and meet him where he is academically. They communicate with me effectively and he is challenged based on his strengths and weaknesses. Cannot say enough good things about the teachers, community of parents, and the kindness that we have received.

Poor - Teachers are not very caring or experienced, relatively high turn over in staff with the more experienced teachers being replaced by young les experienced, I guess this helps with budgeting and allocation of more revenue to the new yard project!
