Love this school! Every body is friendly, including teachers, staff and student volunteers. My son goes to the kindergarten here and I am so glad he is in good hands.

We are pretty new to Vallecitos School. From our first contact with the office staff in October to our granddaughters enrollment in January we have been blessed with the most competent, professional and caring group of staff and teachers and helpers. The school is small, we have constant direct contact with the teacher and our granddaughter loves school. Thank you Vallecitos for a school experience not many children are able to experience. Bigger is not always better!

White flight has impacted this school district. Even the current President and Vice President of the School Board have pulled their children out and transferred them to other public schools. No members of the School Board or the administration are Hispanic, yet 80 percent of the student population is. A school bond for $2 million failed to pass in 2014, leaving the school with unaddressed maintenance problems and an administration with no solutions. The poor image of this school negatively impacts real estate in Rainbow.

my lexi gose to vallecitos elementry rainbow ca she loves the small school and so do I she gets the one on one she needs it makes it easier for all the kids to be friends

My big brother is in 3rd grade now and talked to me about his school. I haven't seen him since 5/14, mommy and I miss him, he lives with his daddy. We love you.

I think this is a wonderful elementary where my grandson is enrolled in and I thank the wonderful teacher Mr.Smiley for making learning fun for my grandson.

Vallecitos Elementary is providing my step-son with good learning activities and good learning habits, he seems very excited when he speaks to his mommy about what he learns and how he is excited about his science class and he likes his teacher Mr.Smiley very much.
