I am so impressed with the way that behavioral challenges which is something that society is met with everywhere and everyday is handled here. Renaissance offers such a reflective, responsive, and intentional approach on each individual situation and is always evolving to find new ways to meet scholars needs. Each situation when brought to administrations attention is handled with such care, thought, and thoroughness which is something you don't often see. It is impressive that their motto this year of "Being the Bean" is encompassed even behind the scenes as they show that in the midst of adversity, you can change your environment by being positive and having Growth Mindset rather than being an egg and becoming hardened to your environment or being the carrot and becoming weak to your environment. The analogies that help to put life into perspective and make scholars stronger each and every day is admirable to say the very least. It cannot be easy to be doing the very best every single day and ensuring scholars have the best education possible and are exposed to such significant character growth all while working with difficult situations but Renaissance does this with ease. Kudos to you Renaissance! It is my prayer, hope, and dream that everyone sees everyday that strength in numbers and having the Growth Mindset that you teach is the way to make the world a better place! Thank you for all that you do!!

Words cannot describe all the incredible opportunities that Renaissance Lutheran offers to not only go above & beyond to shape and challenge the minds of the scholars... but also shape their hearts as well with Character Building and sharing the love, hope, & word of Jesus. Renaissance values not only hitting crucial benchmarks in education, but showing scholars RISE UP: Respect*Integrity*Service*Empathy*Unity*and Perseverance each and everyday & this is something that is rare and unique about this school. At the end of the week scholars are celebrated for their hard work & efforts to go above and beyond to be leaders. Renaissance involves a comprehensive approach that includes a robust curriculum, dedicated staff, and partnership with parents. Scholars are awarded weekly with other awards as well such as "Math Student of the Week, Reader of the Week, etc" and builds positive reinforcement in the importance of education and being a good person. There is not enough characters to show all the unique opportunities Renaissance has to offer but some amazing ones ongoing and to come include:*Middle School is apart of "Project Lead the Way" that offers students to thrive in an evolving world. PLTW empowers students to develop and apply in-demand, transportable skills by exploring real-world challenges. Through our pathways in computer science, engineering, and biomedical science, students not only learn technical skills, but also learn to solve problems, think critically and creatively, communicate, and collaborate. *Second, Third, and Fourth grade are in SHARP Literacy Workshops on water cycle and made a water cycle diagram. Scholars talk about community and made abstract self-portraits. Scholars talked about Wisconsin geography and made their own unique Wisconsin Maps that encompassed what they love about Wisconsin.*Fourth Grade was hand selected in the "Mad Hat Dance Program" through "Dance Works" and work weekly on Jazz, Hip Hop, Latin, and other contemporary styles & are working on an incredible routine which they will compete against 22 other schools in the Milwaukee at the end of the year.*Fourth grade is attending and Pre and Post Workshop with the actors of a play they will be seeing in Milwaukee for the novel they are reading "The Watsons go to Birmingham.*All scholars have Faith Class which is deep rooted in the word and faith of God. Not only are they exposed during faith class but every morning in Assembly.

This is definitely one of the best schools I have ever been employed at. To see how intentional this school is at monitoring data to ensure no scholar is left behind, paying attention to every detail of each scholar to ensure they succeed and are not falling behind shows the everyday commitment to each and every scholar. It is incredible. The resources, training, and behind the scenes hard work to find ways to help fill in the gaps is like nothing I have seen anywhere else. It is amazing to finally work somewhere with such flexibility knowing if one incredible opportunity takes up time then we as teachers are able to make up other extremely important classes at other times in the day so that no class is ever missed. Problem Solving is the strength of this school and Growth Mindset is key, it is the core foundation of where this school was built. The connection, communication, dedication, and love shown from teachers, staff, administration, scholars, and families is unbelievable. I thank God everyday that this school was created to give scholars a place to build themselves internally while also being challenged educationally. What a profound impact this school has made on both families as well as employees. It gets better and better every year!!!

My boys love the Renaissance school, the teachers are amazing here. Class rooms are smaller which is great for students to learn. Renaissance is more like a family to my boys.

The curriculum at Renaissance Taylor is great..I feel like even though he is in k5 I feel like he is on 1st grade work. the staff is great and the make sure to keep you updated on your child’s progression in school and to make sure you interact using Doja app I recommend this school to all my family and friends

My three children and nephew attend Rennissance School and they all have positive leaning experiences. They enjoy school and are more than happy with their teachers. Just like every school, it’s important to stay involved with your child’s education. This school certainly encourages parental involvement. Very positive experiences.Audra

My grands love this School! The teachers do a great job in making sure every child achieves to their fullest potential. The school has a truly great, diverse learning environment. Teachers certainly provide all the tools necessary for paving the children’s’ way to educational success.

This school is so excellent my daughter has been coming here for 7 years. This school teaches high level academics seating them up for high school and beyond. They also make sure your children are getting set up for their furture jobs. If your child is stuck on something the teachers will make sure them understand what they doing. Its so crazy how much my little girl has groaned. I really recommend this school.

My experience with the school, staff, scholars, & administration have been very good. This is my daughter's second year at Renaissance School. So far she has had teachers that care about each students academic level and well being too. Both teachers were available to talk or message. They answered questions & were very responsive to my questions and concerns. My daughter and I have only had good experiences with the staff. The principal handles any and all issues with the upmost respect & with a caring heart too. I am so glad that we found Renaissance School and are part of this wonderful school. I would and do recommend this school.

As as parent for many years at Renaissance School I continue to appreciate the staff and their dedication to the students. The past 2 school years they have fought for our children to remain in school where they know they are best at learning. Love the Christian based atmosphere and all that my children are learning from being apart of a Christian school. Renaissance has become a part of our family and I will continue to be in support of such an awesome school.

I’m so thankful for this school. So many of the staff go above and beyond to support students and make sure they are learning. We love they get to learn about Jesus and math :)

This school has definitely deteriorated in the past year and a half. Not happy with how things are being handled on an administration level. Actions show they are after scores not best interest of the children. Both of my children have had multiple schedule changes with things like 'dance' cutting into recess, faith, and even lunch. The tolerance of bad behavior is unbelievable and unfair to the students who attend for the right reasons. There are a few great teachers not to discredit them. Over all saddened on how things have turned out. I was hesitant to re enroll them this year and now i am looking into other options.

I like rennaisance because the teachers and staff are great! They are so helpful and really pay attention to the kids overall learning experience. They are very responsive to the parents.

I highly recommend this school if you are looking for a place to help your student grow academically as well as in character and faith. They focus a lot on strong academics, discipline and growing in character. Children are safe and I am thankful for the staff.
