If I could give this school zero stars, I would. The amount of bullying, fighting, etc is absolutely crazy. I called numerous times to discuss the issues my child was having and nothing was done. My child’s favorite teacher wasn’t even able to make it through a year… she left after a few months. That is very telling. My child never had any homework and I really feel like he didn’t learn anything. I can go on and on about how horrible this school is. I’m happy my child is out of there. It’s not a safe school by any means.

My son goes to this school multiple occasions we came in because multiple other children where bullying him. And each time we were told the problem would be resolved that they would talk to the parents but just the amount of different kids that want to hit and fight each other is too much. I’ve seen tons of fight videos that are uploaded by other students and just the chaos. even the teachers are getting pushed around there is zero sense of security that my child will come out of that school unscathed. Ive tried to call the main office but my number is immediately rejected or it just rings but when I try a different phone number they answer. they said come volunteer but not even the staff at the school are welcoming enough to want to make me want to help . There’s even a video of a teacher expressing the terrible conditions of that school.

My child was a student at this school. We could barely get a hold of the principal and meet as he was always "out" or "busy" dealing with students. Maybe, but how do you not make time to meet with parents about important issues? The bullying in this school is absolutely absurd. Students are throwing objects at other students, fighting, swearing and they are slapped on the wrist and not dealt with strict enough. There is little to no discipline at this school. Bullying happened to my child inside and outside of the school. If you want your child in a school who will not take bullying seriously, then let them come here. They lack the appropriate resources to attend to parents, students and staff. While there are some teachers who are respectful, understanding and try hard, the basic leadership of this school is horrible. None of the leaders are acting like leaders and parent's concerns are addressed but yet no action is taken. It is empty promise after empty promise. I do not recommend this underfunded, understaffed and ignorant educational building they call a school. What a shame.

I would highly recommend Mitchell to anybody who wants their child to get a quality education.
