This school created nothing but problems for my son. He was so excited to start school and right out of the gate, he was meant with violence and inattention. He spent kindergarten there and part of first grade until I was approached by the school nurse (not his teacher who I spoke to) about how he needs to see a doctor for his attention span.Fast forward 1 MONTH and he's testing at a 3rd grade level for math and on track in every other subject in 1st grade.Shame on you Karshner. And also, thanks for throwing away his school supplies that I arranged to be picked up (because that was a long time ago. December! It's February 5th! Was I expected to take off work to pick them up?? Shame. On. You.

Karshner creates a warm, welcoming environment for students. They hose a dual-language program and work hard to build classroom and school community. They are very communicative and I have appreciated how they treat their students and their families.

My oldest child has attended Karshner for the last 6 years, and my youngest for the last 2. They have both thrived in this school. The teachers are amazing, and work very hard to meet the needs of all of the kids. It is one of the smaller schools in the district, population-wise, and I like that.
