As a previous student of Rogers Middle School, this place is utterly terrible. They did nothing about bullying, and it seems they still dont much for bullying either, I have a sister that goes there and she is constantly being bullied and it seems like staff dont even care. When I left Rogers, I was PRAYING they would change out their staff and actually do more then just sit down and do the bare minimum just so they can get paid, but CLEARLY thanks to my sister's stories, this school has not changed a bit since I was a student. Change out your staff for people who ACTUALLY care about the students well being and I will be happy.

As a student at Rogers, I absolutely hate it. Many of the teachers are disrespectful to me and they don't really want to teach. Not trying to be disrespectful to anyone, but YOU decided to take up a job in teaching. YOU knew you weren't going to be paid enough, but you chose this job anyway. SO if you don't wanna teach and tell that to every student, please give up your job and find a better one or teach with enthusiasm. Many of the teachers, while kind, don't teach. They're (again in no way being disrespectful) dud teachers. They don't do their jobs, they just wave their magic wands around, give out candy, and let our generation go to waste. If you report bullying to the teachers or counselors, they will make you write it down, and then let the AP's handle. The AP's do absolutely nothing. They might call the kid that's bullying up and tell them to stop. But as a child, would you really just listen to blank words? The school has no time to care for students, all they care about is their supposed "reputation" that is clearly going down the drain. I've seen so many kids who might not be as popular or may be of a different ethnicity being bullied. These people have no idea they're being used/bullied. The teachers again don't teach, so students fail assignments. Most people fail elective courses, and they are not hard at all. Please believe me, if your son/daughter isn't a popular clique, they won't fit in. It's a waste of time even thinking about Rogers. Most kids only care about doing their makeup, and how their hair looks, and what they're wearing. Also, they have a "no phone policy". That's one piece of rubbish. Most teachers allow you to be on your phone, besides the new ones who wanna keep their jobs. Everyone else just wants to make kids like them, they don't teach, don't work, and never grade anything. I know i've been saying this a lot, but teachers and peers are horrible. If this post wasn't anonymous, I wouldn't post it, because that's how scary it is to be at Rogers. Please, find a different place/school, don't go to Rogers.

This school is outstanding! My kid loves going there, and he always comes back home with great stories. It seems like such a fun school, and the teachers seem so kind!

Awful, discouraging, frustrating, and disappointing. It was so hard to watch my child suffer and have the school tell me they’re too busy with new students to do anything.

My experience has been outstanding. We were welcomed to the school, which I feel is more a community than a learning institution, the Superintendent addresses my son by name (no small feat, considering the size of the ISD), and I have nothing but praise for the teachers and support staff.

Rogers Middle School is WONDERFUL. The principal, assistant principals and teachers are all amazing. The principals even know the children by name-not sure how they do that with so many kids! My daughter has excelled the past two school years in the GT program, UIL activities, spelling bees, and was also part of the school musical this year. Lots of variety and activities for the kids to learn and grow. We moved here about two years ago and have been so happy here. And I just love that Prosper divides the middle schools into two. I like my sixth grader being with 5th graders! Gives them a little bit longer to be a kid.

We are new to the area and everyone was absolutely helpful, nice and pleasant through the registration process. They really take the initiative to get to know each and every student.

We have been pleased with Prosper ISD in general.Rogers is an example of the many schools in Prosper ISD that far exceed expecations of academically focused parents. We purchased a house in Prosper because we loved the area and the reputation of the school district. We have been very pleased.

First of all, this school is 5th & 6th grade. With that said, my son transferred to this school from New Braunfels ISD in the middle of his 5th grade year. We have noticed that the school curriculum is way harder and much more homework than what he ever had at his last school. I feel they are really teaching and he is really learning and hopefully will be more prepared for college. It does not seem like there is a shortage of anything here and the sky is the limit. He was able to try instruments and figure out what to play for the 6th grade band which the school put on which was fantastic! The school is clean, the children seem to be well behaved. It is nice to see the principal out rain or shine welcoming the students every morning not to mention the Superintendent as well. I don't even think I ever saw the Superintendent the whole 6 years in New Braunfels at my son's school. I really feel my son is receiving a high quality education here.

We transferred in to this school after leaving a horrible school district. My son and I have both loved this school. There was one minor issue of bullying and the way it was handled was outstanding. My son is not athletic either and there is plenty for him to do, They make efforts for students to fit in. He has made friends and is finally happy. I love the teachers and the especially the principal Holly Ferguson. Prosper ISD is top notch in our opinion.

I'm not sure that the above parent can be taken seriously. The grammar and spelling are all over the place so can they really give an accurate description of a school and its academics? My son is currently at Rogers and is enjoying it. He did have some difficulty making friends the first few days since we are new to the area but has since gotten some great close buddies. The teachers are great at communication and I always know what's going on with grades, assignments and tests. Great campus and incredible resources. Family-friendly community that has a small town feel but access to big city amenities as well.
