I love this school been here since kindergarten and send your kids here and they will love it the staff the principal

Incompetent staff. We moved to the area from another country. After spending a few months registering our son at Hyde Park Elementary, just a few blocks from us, they closed the school (did not inform us). When we arrived and I contacted them, we were told we were being re-zoned to a different school, but since we came from another country our son (a fluent English speaker) would need to go to VAS for ESL. We were told that our paperwork was already sent to VAS. After contacting VAS several times, we finally learned that they lost our paperwork and we would need to get all notarized letters, tax receipts, immunization records, again. We did this and I hand-delivered the documents. A few weeks later, when we hadn't heard anything more, we learned that they lost the paperwork again. And they couldn't remember me from the previous times. Then they forgot to put my son on the bus route, so the day before school we needed to call a different school and convince them to get him on a bus. This isn't all of the problems we had, but I am limited to how much I can write. Very poor administration. Trying to move away, FAST! Final note: they are ALWAYS eating in that office. Disgusting.
