Be careful. They hired Levi reynaga and his family are baby killers. His family don't honor the Brett Land family.

awesome teachers always willing to work with the students and help the student succeed. The teachers and principal are very approachable and friendly, the communication with the parent who make the time and effort to oversee the students progress is amazing

Not a surprise; 'ol Burton being ranked 3/10 stars... an UNACCEPTABLE score by ANY standards. Looks like it hasn't changed a bit. I went there as a kid long ago, right after attending the best class of my entire life -- 5th grade at Oak Grove. I attended 6th & 7th at Burton... the WORST classes of my entire life. I couldn't take another year so I rode my bike ALL THE WAY across town to Bartlett for my 8th grade year. I'll never forget how much I HATED Burton. No windows, treated like felons and kept busy the whole day long with "busy work". Kind of like being locked in a big closet ALL DAY, EVERY DAY... with a coloring book. Burton is the place where I first developed a total DISDAIN for authority due to the fact that we were constantly being punished... rather we did anything or not. Take it from a former student with nothing but BAD memories of the place. During the transition years from child to teen, it's probably not a good idea to have your child incarcerated at Burton right before starting High School. The most important life lessons are taught during those years and they'll most likely acquire a very NEGATIVE opinion about education... 3/10 says it all. A BIG, FAT "F".
