We are new to the area and the school district. So far so good. Luckily I haven't had issues. My son is grade 6.

I had two kids attend and both have had great experiences that have prepared them for high school.

I LOVE Central. Middle school years are always tough, but at Central everything in our experience so far, is smooth. They help the students show independence & responsibility. They respect the students. If extra help is needed they are quick to offer solutions. The minute you walk through the doors you feel welcome. The biggest thing- communication! Communication rocks at Central! It is amazing. There is absolutely no way to not know what is going on!

Our daughter is in her second year at Central and we couldn't be happier with the staff and how they work with the kids. Issues are addressed immediately, communication is top notch and the cirriculum is challenging where necessary.

It amazes me how my child is only 1 of around 900 students yet the principal knows not only his name but also his interests, talents and dislikes relating to sports, classes and personality. Mr. Palmer takes the time to stop kids in the hallway to find out how they are doing and genuinely cares. Office staff and counselors are always available, easy for students to talk to and always eager to help. Teachers pay special attention & challenge gifted students & provide extra help to students struggling. Bullying is strongly addressed in the school by all staff and even students help to prevent it. Mr. Youngblood is an outstanding hands on science teacher. Ms. Richard awesome at helping the kids to learn math & algebra so that they understand real life applications not just to complete the assignment or pass a test. The only downside to this school is that some coaching needs improvement. I highly recommend this school to others.
