This school picks and chooses their favorites. Principle has no control over students. Kids are always bullied by staff as well as peers. The only child that gets disciplined is the child that was bullied! What's up with that? Why is the child causing the problem not being disciplined? Do better Garfield! Start by removing that awful principle!

Garfield is the best both my kids went/go there. I recommend the school to friends.

Best teachers in the area, hands down!!! Garfield Elementary school has teachers who give 120 percent and beyond daily for our children!!

I have been told by several people that Mr. Bates was a wonderful principal and I really wish I had the chance to meet him. I was really eager for my children to attend Garfield this year but I find myself starting to wonder why. I feel like my opinion doesn't matter. I often feel that the staff I have delt with has no compassion for single parents, maybe they don't know what it's like I don't know but compassion goes a long way...too bad that isn't something that can be taught, you either have it or you don't.

Garfield Elementary School is an awesome school! Great teachers and an incredible principal that goes above and beyond! The teachers are very friendly and always make it a point to say hello to us everyday. Mr. Bates is the best principal, he knows the kids by name and really gets involved in their day to day lives. He plays outside on the playground everyday with them no matter what the weather! Go gators!!!
