My son had attended public school and never seemed happy. This is his second year at Saint Peter's and he comes home every day excited to tell us every detail about the day. He is reading full sentences and small books just two months into kindergarten. He loves technology, library, gym, and art. He can tell us what quarter and rest notes are in music (which thrills my drum playing husband). He speaks to us in Spanish which is awesome. We enrolled our younger son in the new PreK3 program and the teacher is thoughtful and creates such a fun environment for them. I love that they play outdoors and have fun activities indoors while learning so much! The themed activities make my son so excited for every holiday/event (ie. Halloween, election day). The staff genuinely care about the students. The priests and sisters come into the school regularly to say hello to the students and see what they are working on. Our pastor recently built a chapel in the school complete with relics from the children of Fatima. The priests go out of their way to make sure the students can attend mass there even while maintaining COVID protocols. The parents and the PTA are welcoming and fun. I love volunteering as a XC and basketball coach! It's fun to watch them at the park after school. The fundraisers are fantastic - the Craft Fair is a staple that I went to growing up and always kicks off the holiday season for me! Their Easter Monday Gift Auction has been fantastic even with all the COVID adaptations. I love how they regularly raise funds for people and groups that need it. The kids are so friendly and thoughtful. They genuinely care about each other and always try to reach out to any other child to make sure that everyone who wants to be included is. It's fun watching them interact at the park after school or at birthday parties. As an alumni, what I treasure about Saint Peter's is that no matter how old I get, if I see any of my former classmates or their family members in the community, I always love catching up and having meaningful conversations about what everyone is up to. Saint Peter's is such an amazingly caring community and such has made such an enormous influence in my life and the lives of my family. I feel very blessed to be able to share it with my family.

Very good. We will miss it when our youngest graduates. It has been a true family experience one that we searched for. We are thankful that we found it close to home

The school is small, old and kind of creepy. The children have recess in a public park across the street where any vagrant can wander around. A student in our child's class was a 6 year old bully who pushed his way to the front the line, be openly mean to other kids, and would scream at other children in boys room for no reason. His mom was deeply involved in school activities, so he was just a "high spirited" little boy and everyone else was supposed to deal with it. If this is how a school handles the situation in kindergarten, what hope is there for higher grades. The other thing about it the school is that kids there just don't seem happy. Our kids definitely weren't.

Over 9 years ago, it was time to decide how I was going to educate my future Kindergarten student. The moment I walked into the Open House I could feel the warmth of the faculty and the small school feel. As I approach the graduation of that once kindergarten student I reflect back on our experience and couldn’t be more pleased. The family culture along with the teachers and staff, curriculum and extra-curricular activities has assisted me in raising an intelligent, compassionate, respectful young woman that is extremely prepared for High School and the next chapter in her life. I cannot thank you enough St. Peter School.

We wanted to give our children a small family environment and we have found exactly what we were looking for in St. Peter School. The teachers care not only about the children, but about the family. We have been welcomed with open arms by many at St. Peter and continue to make more friends each and every year. There is a lot of opportunity for parent involvement and social events for families. Educational advancements are always taking place within the school and the children are always a part of these exciting transformations. We are very pleased with our choice and know that you will be too!

We have found a wonderful faith-filled, academic-driven, child-centered enclave in St. Peter School. My husband and I searched for a school that would not only spread the Good News of our Lord, but also diligently prepare our children with the skills necessary for success in the 21st century. Being a public school teacher, I wanted to ensure that my children were not simply being taught to a test. Rather, they are immersed in a curricula that is filled with rigor and compassion. We highly recommend this small school by the sea to any family looking for excellence.

Foundation of faith and community; parents are a force to be reckoned with - which is a good thing. All caring and supportive.

Saint Peter's School is more than just a school to my family. All three of my children have attended the school since 2000. My youngest will be the last to graduate fromSPS this June. Saint Peter's teachers and faculty are a part of our extended family. They have instilled their love of God and learning in our children and every child that attends SPS. That school has been OUR second home for many years. Not only did my kids attend SPS but my husband and his siblings did as well. SPS has prepared our children scholastically as well as spiritually for the road ahead of them outside the doors of SPS. If you ask them they will tell you that they were very well prepared for high school and college. My husband and I were both heavily involved in the PTA and sports council. We chose to be involved and make a difference in our Saint Peter Family. OUR ROOTS will be forever in that beautiful school just over the tracks in Point Pleasant Beach.

As I register my son for his last year at St. Peter, I find myself looking back on the last eight years and know how blessed we are to have been a part of this great school. Dedicated Teachers who care about each and every child. They teach more then Reading, Writing and Arithmetic. Catholic Values are incorporated into each and every aspect of the day. The up to date Technology is something you think Catholic schools don't have ..Well we do!! Smart boards in all the classrooms, Ipad's , computer lab. Art, Music , Spanish, Physical Education, A great sports program, after school clubs. I could not be happier . I have met so many people who I have become great friends with while volunteering thru our PTA . So many giving parents who do it all for the children. What a great example to show our future leaders , that is Priceless. And as our school song states:"Respect, Reverence , Responsibility all at St, Peter's by the sea. .

Our children attended Saint Peter School starting with Kindergarten. We couldn't be more pleased with the academic program provided by the faculty and staff in such a caring and nurturing environment. The education they received prepared them to be successful in both high school, collage and beyond. The values they learned at Saint Peter School instilled in them the desire to give back. One of our children entered the medical field as a doctor and our second child became a special education teacher. As parents we couldn't be happier with the education, values and life experiences they learned while attending Saint Peter School.

I have 3 children in St. Peters. My wife and I found this wonderful school for our children after moving here from Northern NJ. Our children were in a great catholic school up north and we are so pleased that we have found an even better environment for them here. My son is gifted in Math and is in the advanced math classes. The teacher is fantastic. My younger ones play peewee basketball and are thriving in their classes, I am amazed at the level of learning. Their teachers are some of the most caring and dedicated professionals. My wife is active in the PTA and enjoys every minute of being able to be involved. The group only has one objective in mind and that is to create a warm family environment while coming up with creative ways to fundraise. She helps out often and my children reap the benefits. A solid Catholic Grammar School environment is what we were looking for and we are happy that we found it here in Pt Beach.

This wonderful school has been nothing short of the exact experience that we were looking for when we searched schools for our 3 children. The academics are strong, the extra curricular activities are great. The drama program has done wonders for our daughters confidence and our son love the sports program. The Parents Association provides so many wonderful opportunities for our children to get together with their friends and classmates. The parent involvement is a big part of what the school is about, outside of the classroom. My husband and I both willingly volunteer our time above and beyond what is suggested. The leaders of the school and all of the committees are truly invested in the success of the students and the school. Our older child graduated from St. Peters and has gone on to honors level classes and Varsity Sports in High School. We are forever thankful to the faculty, staff, leaders and volunteers at SP for creating a well rounded environment for our children to thrive in. Happy 90 years and many more.

Horrible cliquey place that is run by overbearing bullies in the PTA rather than an enlightened administration. Pay an extra $2,000 -- in addition to the private school tuition -- and you buy the right to be totally uninvolved in the school. Otherwise prepared to be told what to do when, even if you find some activities unacceptable. The experience takes the focus off the child and the quality of the academics, which lags behind more rigorous and progressive schools nearby. Wish we had heeded the negative comments we read here. Miserable, unChristian environment to be sure.

We have two children at St. Peter School and couldn't be more pleased with the experience. For our children, St. Peter's feels like an extension of our home. At school they feel safe and cared about. They truly love the friends they have made and the opportunity to play on sports teams to represent their school. As a parent, knowing that our children are receiving a wonderful education while learning the importance of being kind and respectful to others, provides us great reassurance that our children are not only learning what they need to academically, they are also receiving spiritual lessons that will last them a lifetime. The active participation of parents in School activities and sports programs reinforces to the students how much their parents care about their education and is another example of why St. Peter's is a wonderful community.

As a St. Peter alumnus and the parent of 3 St. Peter alumni I can honestly say that we are so very proud to be associated with such a respected catholic school. Early on, my husband and I made the commitment to send our children to St. Peter's School. Our children are respectful, faith-filled and successful adults. They, along with my husband and I, have made life-long friends. The decision we made is one we will never regret. All of our lives were changed for the better. We are and always will be "SAINTS FOREVER"!

After going through 12 years of Catholic schooling, I wanted to give my children the same opportunity. We wanted a school that would provide not only a great education, but would also teach our children to walk in God s footsteps. St. Peter s school has smart board in every classroom, the media center is amazing and with the new state of the art science lab we were sold. While touring, we met Liz, a parent on lunch duty. She talked about St. Peter as if it was a member of her family and I totally understood what she meant. In St. Peter, your children are receiving reinforcement of the same morals and values they are taught at home. There is no tolerance for bullying, children are taught to treat others the same way they would like to be treated, with kindness, compassion and respect. There is something about a Catholic education that is different and hard to explain. My husband did not attend Catholic school and would always debate the difference with me. We just completed our 6th year of Catholic schooling and my husband can now feel the difference. The funny part is he can t really explain it either. St. Peter gives that to us and our girls every day they are there.

Saint Peter s is a warm friendly school that became an extention of our family from the day we had our first daughter enter in Kindergarten! The wonderful families we made friends with were in addition to the academic success. All four children were very successful in high school and in college and continue to cherish their friends from st. Peter s. Take a look at the school today and you will see the advanced technology including smart boards in every room and I pads used from k through 8th grade. The religious values practiced at the school have complimented the values from home. Thank you to the wonderful faculty and staff!

Small gem of a school located on the Jersey Shore. All of my children attended, each with different strengths and weaknesses, all of them learned self discipline and organizational skills that continue to carry them through their high school years and beyond.A dynamic PTA encourages parental involvement which I feel is key to educational success . The values we teach at home are reinforced daily in class. My children are enjoying the success they have in their teens and twenties because of the foundation laid at St. Peter School.

My daughter is currently in 5th grade at St. Peter School. This is her first year there and I can honestly say hands down that this was the best decision that I have ever made in my life for her. My daughter is thriving in the schools smaller atmosphere. The care and concern that the teachers, staff and parents show is beyond no other. My only regret is that I wish I had enrolled her with St. Peter School sooner. I finally see the full potential that my daughter has within her and the teachers have guided my daughter to show her how to shine within herself.
