The Principal at Clark High School is phenomenal, creating an inclusive and supportive culture for this excellent school, and driving strong teacher commitment to do more- resulting in impressive teacher loyalty and retention. Our son had a strange year with School-at-home his freshman year, then re-acclimating to in-person school for grade 10. The administrators were both aware of and prepared to help students both academically and socially thrive among their peers during and post COVID. I cannot say enough about teacher excellence at this school, and a variety of interesting course offerings... our son was impressed with the Chinese Teacher at the Open House (which I would strongly encourage all students and parents to attend in 8th grade) and ended up enjoying 2 years of learning the Chinese language, along with playing violin among his Clark Orchestra community. The diversity of ethnicity at this school is strong, and it is a great opportunity for the kids to have exposure to a broader diversity of their peers than they experienced in their neighborhood elementary school.

I have worked in Clark high school as a Sub twice . And because of last 2 episodes I have stopped going to that school anymore. Kids behaviour has major issue .They threw chair and tables. And doesn’t care about anyone . They are not scared of anyone and not interested in studies. They think it’s a party time to Enjoy when regular teacher is not around.

My child's honors chemistry teacher seems to be distracted by his personal cell phone while teaching and is very rude. My child can't get the help she needs because of this and is worried to say some and have consequences from this teacher. It's unfortunate seeing the teachers that are hired now. Especially considering this teacher has been teaching for 6 years!

I have had 2 children go through this school. One is a high achieving honors student who had a relatively average experience at Clark. Minor issues but nothing out of the ordinary. The other is an above average student who is interested in learning but had trouble in the highly disruptive classroom environment. Some highly engaged teachers have good control over their classroom, but many of the teachers are phoning it in. In these classes you can see on a daily basis, students who walk around the room, make phone calls, argue, fight and generally disrupt the class. It is a wonder anything can be learned at all. Plano graduates some of the smartest and highest performing students in the nation. These students are lucky to be mostly segregated from the average students who have to put up with the garbage that the administration either intentionally or negligently ignores.

R. C. Clark High School is amazing; they offer a ton of different varieties of clubs, activities, and more. And what's great is their Cougar Chow; a great way to spend time during lunch for an hour with your friends outside where you can buy food from different vendors such as Taco Bueno, Mooyah, and more. The teachers and staff are very kind and helpful whenever you need something, and can be firm whenever needed in the classroom. The school itself after the remodeling looks great, as well. The cafeterias are large, the classrooms are large enough to hold around 30 people, and the school itself holds only 2 grades with an immense amount of people. The school also has more freedom than others (I would believe). Most schools would not allow for outside drinks and backpacks to be brought to class. This school by far is the greatest one I've attended.
