We have loved our experience at the Pollard school. They handled the transition into kindergarten so wonderfully, it’s such a happy and well-rounded program for kids to start elementary school with. All of the faculty and staff we’ve had interactions with have been great! Everyone always has a smile to greet the kids in the morning, and I couldn’t be happier to send my kids here. Every teacher we’ve had so far has gone above and beyond to keep our kids engaged, challenged and interested in learning even beyond the typical classroom lessons. We moved to Plaistow having no connection to the school system, and we have been so happy with our decision!

Pollard Elementary is an amazing school for students to attend. My daughter is severely ADHD and struggled in her previous school. When she started at Pollard, she was about a year and a half behind in reading. Within a year, they were able to not only get her caught up, but get her reading above the expected level. Every single teacher she's had has been amazing. So patient, and you truly feel that they love what they do. The school has an amazing security system and each visitor needs to check in through a camera doorbell before entering the building. My daughter loves attending this school and will miss it dearly when she ages out next school year.

I really feel like this school has saved my daughters education. by taking the time in 1st grade to not only find out what she needs to be successful but also implement it. MRS. Bell is a teacher there and she is responsible personally for my daughters success.

It is unfortunate that several years ago some parents, and or children, did not had a positive experience at this school. However, as in any educational setting, business, company, agency, etc., there can be politics, a bad apple, differences of opinion, etc., just as you have staff who are dedicated to providing the highest of standards, love what they do, and truly enjoy working with children. Just as the seasons change, so do staff, management, visions, teams, etc., There will always be those of us who do what we do for the right reasons, with the best of intentions and with the deepest of respect and care for those we have been given the privilege to work with.

Pollard has been a great school for the kids, however, if you have a child with a learning disability, or any other emotional/anxiety issue, this is not the school for you. They don't listen to what you have to say, they lie, they give you the run around, and nothing ever gets accomplished because they're too busy worrying about their own selves and the school's reputation.

There is a storng sense of community at Pollard. The staff and administration creates an enviroment that sustains this. I have heard good things over the years from other (former) parents. I am glad to be able to experience the care for our children and the hard work that goes into creating a pleasurable learning environment that's safe and effective. There are some top-notch teachers in place at Pollard.
