Below expectations. This District should provide more to the students and staff. Not all students are interested in band nor have that talent; yet this is what is really (emphasis here) promoted. There needs to be more well rounding of resources for other programs here. The STEM Saturdays are a great step forward. More of this, please!!! Before and after school programs are needed to help supplement as well as teach transitions. You'll see kids hanging out in front, roaming the streets, and hanging out at CVS. There's no options for these kids as parents work and there's no onsite programs. there has to be a way to fund a program for these kids. it's sad to see the bad habits start early. We will lose these kids. we pay for a private after school program , which is very pricey, but we know it is worth it. We want our child to have help with homework and a safe place to go.

I am only rating this school so high because it deletes any ratings below a 5 star. This school has an absolutely pathetic staff and it truly is horrific how we are paying for such low functioning human beings. We have had multitudes of interventions with the sorry excuse for a counselor and vice principal to end an individual's bullying but to no avail. It really is pathetic how the absolute monkey of a Vice Principal, Jeffrey Maes continues to ignore the bullying going on. If your child has ever had trouble with independence this school is not for your child as the overpaid staff will do nothing to help. It is astounding how lackluster this school has been overall.

We just moved to the district last year and so far we really love it. Teachers seem very involved and my daughter is both an art and multimedia class beyond her core classes. She is also in Science Olympiad after school. Kids are super-nice and friendly. We are really happy with the decision to move into this school district.

Second week of school and my daughter still doesn't know what classes she will take. Her schedule was full of mistakes and now, she doesn't even know where to go tomorrow. They gave her the wrong math book, then she got the wrong chorus class.... As a parent, I wish I could have received a notification at least, because I do not know myself what is going on.
