I am thrilled to share my positive experience with Brookhaven elementary school. The dedication of the staff and teachers is truly commendable. They go above and beyond to ensure each child's academic and personal growth. The curriculum is engaging and well-structured, fostering a love for learning. The school's focus on character development sets it apart, teaching values that extend beyond the classroom. Safety measures are impressive, providing parents like me with peace of mind. Communication with parents is excellent. This school creates a warm and supportive community where children thrive. I highly recommend Brookhaven.

My child attended kindergarten there and I decided to enroll my child at another school on the following year. I wasn't the only one who decided move to another school on the following year by the way. One teacher who is still there has strange ways to show appreciation toward the parents who volunteer to help her class and the teacher in the next door to her. In front of the parents, she acts as if she appreciates all the help she gets but behind the backs of the parents, she says she has no problem with putting the parents in their rightful places if anyone brings any concern with how things are going there. This same teacher was so fond of a divorced father of one of her students and she acted so sweet in front him and his child. Stay-at-home moms are seeing like free housekeepers there. Children of parents who have fancy jobs are treated differently than other kids. This school acts as if it's the best school in the county or something but it's not special. Entire school district is a disappointment. No wonder private schools thrive..If you are having any issue at school, just take your child out of the district or your child will face endless punishments by overpaid educators who got nothing better to do than bully kids and parents.

Academically it's a good school. However, as stated before the school secretary can be rude.

The special education team at Brookhaven is excellent. It is not the easiest job and you can tell that they really care for the students' academic and social success. The Resource Specialist is extremely intelligent and helpful. The students adore her. She truly is a professional in every sense of the word. My child has made amazingly fast progress in just a few short years. The special educators at Brookhaven know how to advocate for their students.

Great school, really challenges the kids and prepares them well for Junior High. Could do more for GATE program activities however.

Brookhaven Rocks! The kindergarten staff of Mrs. Grijalva & Ms. Vitelli is amazing; my hat is off to them for consistently going above and beyond to find fun ways to teach. The school is a creative and enthusiastic learning environment. The teachers, principal and parents work as a team to provide a first rate education & experience for children. I would have to agree that the front office secretary could use a better attitude.

Brookhaven is a good school, although the office staff leaves much to be desired. The front office secretary is so incredibly rude that when I first went to register my daughter I almost thought about switching her to another school. She gives the whole school a bad image and I feel that they should seriously consider replacing her with someone more compassionate. Besides that it's been a pretty good school overall.
