This school is probably the worst school to send your child to. The administration and teachers are beyond horrible. Do yourself and your child a favor and send them to any other school but here.

I've had two children go through the full K-8 journey at KSDS and couldn't be happier, both academically and social-emotionally. Leadership did a tremendous job navigating COVID and educating the children throughout. My oldest was incredibly prepared for high school and has thrived. The foundation that Schechter has given to my children is truly unparalleled and has set them up for success on all fronts. I would highly recommend the school.

School makes itself look wonderful on paper but in practice it’s absolutely out of date and lacks true leadership. Teacher’s lack experience and do a mediocre job with kids who aren’t traditional learners. If your child requires a little assistance they will charge you 3,000 because they did a poor job in the first place. The teachers shout at kids and crush their desire to think outside of the box. Their is an awful arts and music program. The sports are really disappointing and not worth the cost county rec is so much better. The amount of bullying and blatant racism is rampant with staff, students and the community. If your child has any diversity they will snap as many photos as possible to get them in a marketing piece but in the meantime that kid is miserable. We won’t be recommending KSDS and we hope that soon it will be a faraway memory of a very big mistake we made in choosing the right school.

This used to be a great school. It has changed a lot and I would not recommend this school. The teachers do not understand how to address learning differences and will ask the parents to come up with a plan instead. The leadership is useless. It is very sad to see a school with such a name recognition being brought to the ground. What a shame.

I am an alumni of Krieger Schechter. This is a great school. Although I only went there for middle school, it was a great experience. It prepared me for high school very well. The teachers are very helpful and open to talk to. Being a student, it felt like your class was your family. Everyone was friends. I moved to Texas and I am at the top of my class thanks to Krieger Schechter. Schechter prepares you for high school in ways you wont even know until you graduate and look back on your journey at Shechter. -Written by a former student of the class of 2013
