I have a straight A student that was transferred to this school in 7th grade and this is his second year of what he calls “hell school” the bullying on this campus is insane, a student literally “pantsed” a kid during class and recess and was only suspended two days, my son has missed school because he’s terrified of the bullies. Only send your child here if they are athletic and the in type of kid otherwise as a mom you’ll be in turmoil the entire time. We are currently seeking homeschool in case my son can’t take it anymore, I keep telling him just a few months to go bud. The teachers are fine nothing that I’ve been mega impressed with. The school my kid came from he was class president and top of his class so I take his opinion quite literally.

My son went here for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade. Last school year being 2020-2021.Never had a single issue. He loved this school, made a lot of friends, teachers were all very nice, communicative, helpful... And especially through Covid. Unfortunately we moved to a new neighborhood at the end of last school year and are no longer "assigned" to this school. I'd love to keep him here, but have to now go back into the office and need him going to school where we live. Otherwise, he would still be attending. I think the school does a great job of communicating, emailing, flyers... and most of the teachers really encourage parents to get on teaching apps to stay informed with your child's classroom, and be able to have that open relationship with your child's educator. Again, after 3 school years, not a single negative to notate.

I have two students at this school and am very happy. The teachers care so much about their students. The administration also goes above and beyond to take care of the children and the staff

Terrible administration! Principal and VP due not following correct school policy. They are understaffed and cannot keep students safe.

We have two children at Stetson Hills and are extremely happy here. The teachers go above and beyond and truly care about the students. The front office and support staff are all friendly and helpful. The new principle seems to be doing a great job so far.

Stetson Hills is not our home school, but I make the drive everyday because it's THE BEST school in the district. My oldest is now in 6th grade and my youngest started kindergarten this year. The teachers are highly trained and genuinely care about their students and are able to provide so much for their students under the amazing leadership of the administration. So much of the students' work is individualized and thoughtfully planned and prepared for them. The kids aren't just taught to be good students, but also good people with bullying prevention lessons and character education. There are many opportunities for parents to become involved, as well. We love our school!

I personally give this school 5*****Stars. As previously stated my son began his education last yr (fall 2016) and though we are still relatively new to this school. It has been above and beyond my expectations. I look forward to our next 7yrs here. I pride myself on my children's education. I am a mother of 5. They are the future and deserve the very best in all aspects building a foundation that will carry them into adulthood serving their families and community well.

All three of my children attend this school and love it. Every teacher we’ve had the pleasure of dealing with has been amazing. They brought in a new principal this year and my kids absolutely love her. This school is great all around and our experience has been wonderful.

Dear office staff, He is a human being only trying to pick up his kids. He's not deaf! He speaks Spanish English is a second language he is trying to learn. Yelling at him will not make him learn any faster. Mabey I should bring up to the district offices you need bilingual training so you are not so frustrated. To bad this school does not encompass what the rainbow flag hanging in the cafeteria means.

Stetson Hills is awesome! This is our first year at this school and the staff and teachers are amazing. They have a ton of programs for the kids and they are always available to help students. One word to describe Stetson is committed!

We love this school! The teachers are committed and passionate about our children's development. They foster an environment where children are able to work towards clearly defined goals. The expectations for behavioral and scholastics are high without making the children feel overwhelmed or stressed. The school actively encourages parent involvement through the PTSA (event planning), classroom assistance, or administration office. We've been very impressed with how well they communicate with parents by calling, emailing, and texting important messages, maintaining the website updated, and having the information readily available on their APP. The school offers many different special interest programs/clubs to keep them involved. We feel very fortunate to be a part of this school!

Parental involvement is discouraged. Teachers are impersonal. Other parents are rude, inconsiderate and do not follow school rules. Children are told what they CAN'T do rather than what they CAN. Your student must fall back in line with the rest of the class academically or risk being seen as difficult because you want more for your child. Looking for a great private school. Just remember, you get what you pay for.

My school is a k-8 that has very good programs, especially extra curriculars. We have an outstanding sports group and also a wonderful program for the arts. As part of the NJHS we recently put in a science sanctuary containing a garden, greenhouse, two koi fish points and four desert tortoises, this will help younger grades to learn about the life cycle and germination. Also, NJHS is collecting bottles and cans to recycle. Lastly, our outstanding student council has been holding a completion to collect pop tabs and pennies for the Ronald mc Donald charity house. Finally, we have recieved an A+ rating three years in a row.

We moved from 2 great schools in Colorado, so I've had the opportunity to judge this school against the other 2 that my kids to. I have really liked that the kids aren't overloaded with homework. Also, when I've contacted teachers, they have immediately responded nicely. The music teacher is a joke! Seriously, my 2 kids have said that she never does any actual singing or anything musical- they just learn notes on the staff and listen to her talk. She sends the kids to the corner or the principal's office if they talk. The other 2 elementary schools we went to did some sort of musical show- they don't do that here. I was so bummed. One big thing I have noticed is that the adults treat kids like they are already 'misbehaving' and are a bit harsh compared to our other schools where the adults treated the kids more like equals. My son has talked about a teacher who yells at the kids all day but is really nice when another adult comes in. This year he's mentioned that the teacher says "This is easy to understand, why can't you guys get it?" I've noticed a more authoritarian style of teaching. Gosh, maybe we'll move back to Colorado where there really are some amazing schools!!!

This school is great for Elementary school kids however the middle school {7th & 8TH} has been in need of an overhall for a few years. The Administration does little to fix areas of weakness and the teacher quality is very poor. Class sizes are 30+/1 in many classes. The students are behind and not learning as they should. Used to be an A+ school a few years ago but the change of Administration has brought it down to an A school. The PTSA is exceptional.
