Very poor. Was good the first but they have allowed the thug like culture to grow into a very stressful environment for many students. That is parents fault as well. They also do not check heads so my child has come home with lice four times and they do nothing but the grade your xhild is in even though all grades ride the same buses.

South Pointe Elementary is the most loving school in the valley. I can't express the gratitude I have for this school principal and staff. They have turned my life around and made an impact that is life changing. They taught my children how to love themselves, how to believe that they are capable of great things and that even kids from a poor family can complete with win. They gave my family Christmas.

Not a good school at all. Awesome teachers, but not much they can do to improve bad misbehaved students. The principal and vice principal could use more experience.

I am an involved parent at South Pointe Elementary School. The teachers and administration are very professional and work very hard with all kinds of children. They do not turn their backs on kids and they do not pass the buck. My child is a 5th grader and has had an incredible year of learning.

As parents we are not happy with this school. I believe the staff is doing the best they can but many of the students are misbehaved which causes disruption in the classroom. Many students are not up to grade level which causes the few that are above to not get the attention and material they need to continue to excel. My son is in the 5th grade and has attended since 3rd grade. He has not done one report and seldom if at all has homework. The teacher he had for 3rd grade & the one he had for 4th grade no longer teaches there. His 5th grade teacher is new to the school. We tried to transfer our son after his 3rd grade year but the principle assured us that many of the troublesome students would not be allowed to return, better teachers were being hired and for us to please stay. But from our experience nothing changed. The only reason he stayed another year (poor choice) was because we believed the new teacher would have greater control of the class. The real issue is the "environment."

This school is amazing. It has free: tuiton, uniforms, transportation, tutoring, summer school program, meals, and more The after-school program they offer is great as well! They have hip hop, art, Lego robotics (STEM), remedial math, and serve dinner afterward. There are excellent ELL classes offered at this school. The teachers care about the students and the students care about the teachers. There is always hugging and it is an incredible safe environment. Great student to teacher ratio as well!

South Pointe Elementary is the Best School In Phoenix. The entire staff welcomes each child with open arms and a commitment for Excellence. The school really helps parents be parents and supports families that are in need. Everything is FREE and that is incredible. My children get free tutoring, free summer school, free uniforms and free love. Try beating that neighborhood schools with your $40 dollar uniform shirts and $65 dollar transportation fees for dropping children off 3 miles from home. South Pointe puts safety & education first!!!
