I am absolutely thrilled with Arcadia Montessori. When we first toured I was so impressed with the facility and the individual attention our son would receive in his classroom. We've been here for over a year and are loving it. The winter program and art show are two fantastic events that we have highly enjoyed. Our son absolutely adores his teacher. We are so grateful to have found Arcadia Montessori School!

AMS provides a wonderfully structured, inviting and creative work environment for early learners. This has fostered a love for school for our child.

We have really enjoyed the experience our 2 year old son is having at Arcadia Montessori. They make it very comforting for a working mom to feel like her child is being well taken care of; Since he started at 18 months his development has also really blossomed, he has become much more social, independent, and confident. His manners are stunning for a two year old and I credit the school for that. I would recommend this school to anyone that is looking because I think it is so wonderful.

Our son started in the toddler program 2.5 years ago and is now in their amazing kindergarten program. We receive a report every Friday on how he is doing in language, math, writing, geography & his cultural, practical life & sensorial work. The kindergarten program also provides piano lessons, Spanish, art projects, gardening & field trips. The Montessori curriculum & classroom structure has really set a great academic foundation for him. Our son actually looks forward to going to school and "working" with his friends. We enjoy the beautiful learning environment of each classroom and the many annual events the school puts on for the kids. It really is a community and we look forward to sending our youngest son to Arcadia Montessori as well.

Overall this school is great. We have had a child in attendance for several years (in the Toddler through Kinder rooms) & while some of the teachers and the directors have (unfortunately) changed, overall it has been a great experience. The Toddler and Pre-Primary classrooms are fun and well-rounded. If you want your child to know all their letters, numbers, start to read, etc in preschool this may not be the best place for you - but honestly we've looked at A LOT of schools in the area and AMS is definitely the best. The kids pick fruit and vegetables from the school gardens, cook in school, take Yoga, listen to classical music. So much more than a traditional preschool. Their Kindergarten is AMAZING. Ms. Amelia is second-to-none and your child will get an incredible amount of focused attention, small classroom setting, field trips, piano lessons, the list goes on. My child went from not knowing all his/her letters to reading short-vowel words in less than two months. A lot of it is certainly the child's willingness to learn, but if your child is ready to thrive then this is the place for them! I seriously couldn't be happier with this Kinder experience for my child.

Terrible!!! High turnover is the biggest sign. The teachers who have been there a longtime are good however supporting staff for the most part is constantly coming and going.

My daughter is 4 and has been attending for 1 year. She loves school and we have had no problems despite the turnover when we first started. We were worried about the class size but haven't seen any concrete problems. The staff radiates a loving, safe feeling. I felt obliged to share my good view of the school after reading the bad reviews, which surprise me. We feel fortunate and happy to have our daughter at Arcadia Montessori!

Our son started going to Arcadia Montessori in July of last year. We were resistant to pre-school because we thought he was doing just fine and getting plenty of socialization and activity with our family. But honestly, this was the best decision we could have made. He was already doing well. Now, he's even lightyears beyond that. His teacher and the montessori method made a huge difference in focusing his attention and self-regulating his behavior. The campus is beautiful and the staff is caring and attentive. We're really seeing it this summer with visits from the Phoenix Zoo every month. They're putting in a new splash pad which is just a wonderful amenity to have in the desert. i don't understand what those bad reviews are about. I've never seen anything but professionalism and quality care from the staff.

Agree with the previous reviewer... beautiful school, but that is about all. Don't be fooled by all the bells and whistles. Took my child out awhile back and have never looked back.

My 3 year old son's teacher was horrible and did not show an ounce of compassion. She was always super-stressed, I have no idea why she chose her profession. When I tried to address concerns about her, I found the director and other staff made excuses. The school looks nice, but don't be fooled.

Although we were hesitant to let go of our 2.5 yo daughter, even for half a day, we finally decided that she needed to start socializing more to kickstart her social and language skills. After a rough 2 weeks of drop-offs (totally normal, as we were told and as it turned out), we could not possibly be happier with our choice of Arcadia. Our daughter has flourished both socially and in language skills. She loves her friends and her teachers. She looks forward to school and can't wait to tell us what her day was like when she comes home. I simply can't find anything to caveat about this school. We love it, and our daughter loves it. We're lucky to be so close, but knowing what we know now, we'd make the trek to bring her here even if we were further away. Beyond just the school itself, we've formed a great network of parents who are now friends and socialize with and without the kids, outside of school. Arcadia Montessori is just a perfect storm of a great system, and great facility and great people.

After two years at this wonderful school I have nothing but positive things to say. The teachers and staff are passionate about their work and this is reflected in the success of the children. This summer they started swim for my child's class, this is a huge relief because as a busy parent its nice to have this all done in one place. Along with swim they have a phenomenal music teacher and visits from the Phoenix Zoo. I look forward for Jack's remaining time there and would recommend this school highly. I am so grateful that I found Arcadia Montessori, a school who truly cares about the well being of my child.

This is an amazing preschool/kindergarten that has inspired both of my children to grow into loving, kind, generous and intelligent little beings. We have been with the school for 4 years now and are having a hard time picking an elementary school that will suffice to follow this place. There have been changes along the way and we do miss our original director. However, the owner is very responsive to parental input and many changes for the better have been made. My oldest is above her age in her academics and LOVES learning because Arcadia has set the foundation that learning is fun. They also bring in weekly music, yoga and zumba classes which my kids love. Most of the teachers have made a career out of teaching at this school and the newer teachers and assistants are all great at this time. It's truly wonderful!
