This school is supposed to help kids that have “difficulties learning in a traditional school setting”. Yet for admission they will review the child on paper and decline without compassion or meeting the kids. My son was rejected because he was cognitively too far behind according to test scores (that even the test administers state is not a good reflection of him). He has “difficulties learning in a traditional school setting”. My son is a dream, to know him is to love him. He is very far behind academically and I am trying to get him caught up. I am very disappointed in the process. For a school that specializes in helping non-traditional students they seem behind on the times. Please improve the Admission process.

I am a Senior student first off Newway has helped me so much and gave me a chance to read and write I have been to Newway since Second Grade. And Oh Boy it's been a Ride. I have seen changes throughout the school let's start with elementary. Elementary is great teachers go to your needs and show you how fo read-write and teachers encourage everyone to make friends. That's was some of my best years nothing negative about elementary until you want to be challenged more on to Middle school. It's great ish being bullied. I was bullied daily and the administration turned a blind eye to it every day, to be honest, once you get bullied good luck it will take a while. Also, they pride themself on having no place to hate migration there is a complete joke every kid knows it there is no kid in that building who thinks it works so head up otherwise than that middle school was ok it had its up and downs. High school is a joke everything I have wanted internships had to find them myself they have no internship program and you can't leave campus for lunch even if you're a senior it's a joke the worst part is the administration. Seem to kick the crib in high school by constantly doing the same thing like Disney trip or going to a place named pail for 2 days yes 2-day trips. And oh yeah hmmmmmmm education part is dumb it's so bad half the time I am not motivated to do my work for my classes it's the same stuff over and over and over again. And the stuff you don't understand it will be forever to learn good luck. College or secondary programs there like 2 great that bring in other schools for events but most of us can't go to college. Bottom line well newway he a great program with middle and elementary. I saw middle school gotten better along with elementary-high school no. if your kid can't move schools then make sure to help him with social groups one-way stinks with that. I would highly recommend newway for middle and elementary school. But high school it depends on the student but a heads up for all parents there isn't much programs for kids to show after school good luck.

Best school I have ever been to! When I came to this school I had zero confidence and now my confidence is amazing! 10/10 would recommend this school!

My daughter attended this school for 10 years. We stuck with it because my daughter was resistant to change and we new it wasn't perfect, but thought it would get better. Elementary was good, middle school was challenging, high school was a disaster. My daughter is a sweet girl who never got into any trouble. However, in retrospect, we should have pulled her out after 8th grade. We kept her there because we were afraid of the alternative, but now that she has been out for over a year, its like she is able to breathe again. She needed therapy for 8 months after graduating to realize just how dysfunctional her experience was at this school. She is finally learning how to have a normal relationship with other kids and is thriving in a community college environment with kids who are socially typical, inclusive and good influences. Do your due diligence before enrolling your child at this school

New Way Academy transformed my daughter's education and her life. New Way provides a supportive yet challenging environment that meets kid's right where they are and provides them the environment and support they need to fulfill their potential.

My daughter transferred to New Way mid year, and had been attending for 2.5 years. Our family is very pleased with her self esteem, responsibility and ownership she takes toward learning and her love of school/learning and her teachers. We have also started to see our daughter implement tools and coping mechanism she learned at school now at home. NW has been a game changer for us!

Our son attended New Way Academy for the past two years, and it was one of the best decisions we made. We had to leave due to an out-of-state move, or our son would have remained at and graduated from New Way. We highly recommend the school. Our son’s confidence in himself and his ability to learn grew exponentially. The teachers and staff are involved and responsive. In particular, Abbey Ross and Michael Walker always had time to answer our questions. They also made time to get to know the students individually, which our son really appreciated. The school hosts informational programs to make sure parents understand what students are studying as well as social activities so parents can get to know each other. The school’s online communication system was another huge plus for our family. We knew exactly how our student was doing and where we could help him on any given day.New Way will always be a part of our family. You put our son on the path to success. Thank you, New Way!

Excellent! I am so proud to say that my son attends this school. I know have a child who is starting to believe in himself for the 1st time in a school ever...and hes in 6th grade!

Great school! Noah M from admisión is a professional and he helped us from the beginning. Sophia is super excited to be part of this great school and involved in extracurriculum after school activities. She is making friends as well. Great school , administration and teachers . Go bulldogs!

Our son is currently attending this school for the second year. We are thrilled with the education he is receiving. He is finally able to read. After three years in public school. This school is teaching him how to manage his dyslexia. This has been a struggle with three types to deal with. He has three types of dyslexia orthographic, phonologic, and dysgraphia.. We had no idea there were so many. The teachers and staff are the best. We love the school

New Way is the best choice for children with Dyslexia and ADHD. The New Way staff reversed the damage done in the public schools within the first couple of months. Our son regained his confidence and self esteem. Today he smiles and is eager to go to school. He spent 4 years in public school and could not read, today he completes his first year at New Way and he is reading everything around him. Before, he was convinced he could not learn. Today he is inspired by all the subjects he is mastering and at ten years old he is talking about what he wants to study in college. If your child has learning differences you need to speak with the experienced teachers, staff and parents at New Way.

I am writing this to the parent or families that have lost hope or don't know where to go next after a learning difference diagnosis. I wish someone would have shared us any info on this school. Without hesitation, New Way has changed the life and future of our son. This is the first year that he has friends, his grades are at AZ state standards (he came in at a 2nd grade testing level) and is learning the social skills needed for different environments. We are so proud of him and so thankful for the staff that saw beyond the angry eyebrows and crossed arms. Now with the Bridgeway Program into ASU and U o fA he will get the help needed beyond high school. This school helps all children with learning differences (Dyslexia, Aspergers, Sensory Issues, Speech and Language Development etc). Walking onto campus, these students like all the other children in all the other schools, you would never know the difference except how polite they are to each other and adults. Check this school out, you won't be sorry!
