Heritage School (Snowline J.U.S.D) is not what it is cracked up to be. I can count on one hand the nice, caring, and compassionate employees there. Everyone else there including the Principal is a huge joke. I was on the waiting list for 3 years maybe a little longer for my daughter to attend Heritage and man it wasn't worth it. I knew my daughter would have a heavy workload but this was ridiculous. My honor high school student who is also taking college classes online doesn't even have the amount of work my first grader has from Heritage. Since covid hit and having school online, we would start my daughter online at 7 am and we would finish between 4 and 6 pm. That's 9 to 11 hours of school work (including homework) we would be doing daily. We even did schooling on the weekends to try to stay up with the workload. I know this is a high academic school but they cause way too much stress on the students and not only is the workload crazy the Principal Shawn Premo is FAKE. All he cares about is himself and the students and parents do not mean a thing. He thinks he is above everyone else, he is arrogant, condescending, and thinks he is entitled. Mind you, this is a parent-involved school, and he manipulates the parents and students. I removed my child from that school. Your child may get an education there but not in a healthy, safe, and positive environment. PLEASE DO NOT ENROLL YOUR CHILDREN HERE!!!! Go to Baldy Mesa, Pinon Hills, Pinon Mesa, or Quail Valley, those are great schools!

This school has a high parent involvement and is active in making sure kids are learning. My daughter has learned so much at this school and I cannot wait to see the future of her education here. Great teachers who have taught there for years, the obviously love the school or they would have left. I am so glad my daughter goes here and highly recommend anyone thinking about putting their child in. The school could improve facilities and upgrade things, but they just this year updated the front office so looks like they're trying.

This school has very poor facilities (all classes ar 30+ year old portables, the playground is inadequate, the field is in poor condition, the hardscaping is dangerous, there is no gymnasium or lockers for middle school, and parents have to pay for every little thing, including all field trips costs), but the teachers and administration make up for it. I can only imagine how wonderful it would be if the school facilities were improved and the students received the same technology and supplies as other schools. It is purely this school's staff that makes this school great.

The principal and the office staff are great. They care about the students and it shows. The dress code needs more enforcement but otherwise the majority of the kids dress appropriately. The school is consistently homework heavy and it helps keep the basics they learn in class reviewed and parents help with their participation to enforce the basics learned in class at home. You get what you put in as a parent with your child.

I am on summer break and am looking forward to getting on the cross country team! It is one of the most enjoyable clubs at Heritage!
