Dont send your student here. They were not inclusive and my son did not thrive here. Nobody cared. Only if your student started elementary here, will they be accepted and helped.

First, off it should be mentioned that I have no hate for the school I just want to improve it. Second, For sake of privacy, I'm leaving out the teacher's name. Biology Honors, the style of teaching that this class uses is not good whatsoever. Our teacher has us take notes at home, then come into class expecting that we know everything, this is good for the next class, but you'll just end up forgetting the next 2 days or so, but for some students, this is a good style of teaching but for most, it's not. I love the teachers here but SOME classes do not teach the subject very well. As well, the system of grading here is really not the best, the tests are worth too many points, for context most of the coursework won't matter if you don't do well on a test. The only time it would help is if your grade is sitting right on the line of two letter grades. Even more, you can't switch classes after a certain period of time. But that wouldn't be a problem if it weren't for the fact that all the classes don't really get into work in the time frame in which you can switch classes. What I'm saying is the classes give you no real reason for you to switch until the deadline is up. To lunches, why is lunch 4 dollars? I know it's dominos's pizza and higher-quality food than the middle school nearby but 4 whole dollars? Why are half the appliances in the bathroom not working? Most sinks are not working, most blow dryers aren't working, and paper towel dispensers aren't stocked. I don't understand why they aren't working because you pay 4 dollars for lunch, 40 for an upcoming homecoming(not to mention all the other stuff your gonna get while you're there), and money to get into sports events, where's all of this going to(i suppose that isn't my business to know but, I'm just curious)? But, with all that mentioned there are a lot of good things about the school, The teachers themselves(not the classes) are amazing, the food is good(just a bit pricy), more freedom when it comes to phones, extracurricular activities, and the number of different classes to suit your future. A lot of the problems I mentioned above I believe could be fixed if mentioned by students, which, is my motive for writing this review. I have no hate towards the school but I just want it to improve.

Small town high school with a small town feel. The grading system is confusing at best and nothing like the rest of the high schools in the district. Extra curricular classes offered are sufficient except for foreign language, which is one choice, Spanish. Given that 2 years are a requirement you'd think there would be more options. As a parent, there's little to motivate my child to be interested in learning.

Falcon is amazing. I didn’t go to falcon all 4 years so I had experience at another high school. Falcon has everything a potential new student or a freshman could need. From S2S (student to student) all the way to guidance counselors who actually care about their students and their success.

Not to big of a school and a lot of things to do. I give it 5 stars for the chance to get better. Many parents have to use expectation management. Smaller schools and districts don't have as much money. I hear complaints daily about things like sports uniforms and petty stuff. Then go live in a district that has outrageous taxes and HOA fees if you want materialistic things for your children. This area is growing and growing fast, give it time.

This is a terrible school! The principle is incompetent and has poor judgment in hiring and retaining teachers and coaches. We have had the worst experience and this post is to prevent other parents from enrolling their children into this poor excuse for a high school!

Between Schoology and Infinite Campus, I am forced to spend many hours trying to find information on school work due, grades, attendance, quizzes, test results, etc. The information is never easy to find and both sites are extremely difficult to navigate. Getting information out of the teachers is nearly impossible, unless you are willing to meet them after school and don't be late or they will leave!

I absolutely hate this school. The grading system makes your life a living hell. The teachers in the math department don't care about the kids. Some of the security officers are more of friends then security officers. Don't enroll your child here!

I am giving it a 2 stars just because of the grading system before it was changed it was a 5 star.Falcon High has great teachers. My concerned for the last 2 years is that with the Standard Base Grading they will be burned out. With this new way of grading students can retake test to raise them " to master the topic". To do this teachers stay before and after school to reteach what was already taught in class. I don't see how this will help with getting them ready for college since the students are not motivated to do H.W. or stay on task since is not required, " study at tour own pase" I think that in the real world you do things on time correctlly or you get fired from your job. In college you have due dates and if you can't keep up with your class you fail. It is sad to overwork the teachers and have the students not being taught that responsability and time management is important.

Falcon High School cares about their students. My daughter was ill last Spring and when she returned this year every teacher that had her in their class took her aside to ask her how she was doing.
