Horrific and basically a daily battle. It was a terrible experience for our child

We truly enjoy being at PES. While no school is perfect - I believe it is a good school with dedicated educators and a nurturing environment.

The school is only as good as the parents who are involved with the PTO or volunteer programs. Like all SAU #1 schools, they have an over abundance of Paraprofessionals with some teachers have 2 or 3 for a class of 15. Title One parents will have their child forced out of the program and the child will loose all support. They quote rules and regulations vs trying to find a way to assist the child in their needs.

My son just started first grade at PES and is doing great! We love his class teacher and the numerous option for after-school involvement. The school is clean and wonderfully decorated with plants and students' work. They really do a great job. No complaints at all.
