My son was miserable in public school. Since starting here, he has done very well, and more importantly is happy and thriving.

Excellent. Amazing. Surpasses all our hopes for a 6-8th grade school for our kids. Our kids have been there a combined 6 years so far. We LOVE it! We are so fortunate that we live close enough for our kids to attend.

1 through 3rd grade at this school is excellent. Then it goes down hill. fast. They have lost all their good teachers and now they are on a mad scramble to find ANYONE to teach. The 6th and 7th grade class room is a room in a cold drafty barn separated by a canvas cloth. The school's campus is absolutely terrible. The teachers are really experienced and bring little to the table. You have to spend an HOUR doing a wacky terrible meeting called "morning meeting" every morning. Almost all the students hate "Morning Meeting." You are forced to sing Morning has Broken every morning and it feels ritualistic. The school has NO physical education, NO health class, and NO sexual education. I love this school, I love the people but I can't stand it. Its is wildly overpriced. Most of the teachers just teach so their kid's can get in for free or discounted. For every 1 student they gain they lose 4 more. The school is on a rapid decent and needs to get it's act together. fast.

Mountain Shadows is the place to send your child if you want every aspect of their being to be nurtured and brought to their full potential. I have never met a more caring group of teachers or students.
