I would say, if you have a child with any special ed needs- I would highly suggest throughly interviewing the teachers that your child will be interacting with, and be very clear about how they will test and place your child. I would also confirm your expectations of communications and involvement in your childs education. I suspect that the School District hopes that you arent paying attention to their special ed teaching, and just kind of floats kids along.

During the 6th grade promotion ceremony, the Principal monopolized the whole thing by saying something about each of the 59 students graduating. It took forever as she said a few lines about each student. While this may sound nice, it was completely inappropriate. She was brought to the brink of tears saying goodbye to a couple students, while other students she just sort of glossed over. It became pretty clear that she doesn’t know many of the students well, if at all, but she sure likes to pretend she does. Her little speeches showed clear favoritism towards a handful of students. In many cases she shared information with the audience that perhaps was personal to the student, such as struggling with body image or family issues. If you’re going to say something to each student, keep it fair and sincere. Don’t say 20 things about one student and 3 about another. Or better yet, have the teachers that actually know the students say something instead.

this is a bad school because the staff there are always screaming at you for everything you do like kick a ball and it almost hits them they'll send you to the office. Another thing is that the teachers there will say how bad you are and not engouraging you and remember when there is a fly don't look at it or else you well be sent to the office and get a teacher refferral by a sub.

Meadow Elementary now has the award winning Integrated Perceptual Motor program. The children love it and best of all the teachers are finding the students are more focused in class. Watch their test scores go up.

Super star Principal and inspiring teachers that nurture a love of learning! Both our son and daughter went went to Meadow from K-6th. Dedicated, top quality, genuinely nice, teachers at every grade level. Principal is smart, attentive and engaged with the kids and parents. After our son graduated we (regretfully in hind site) moved him to the local Catholic school for 7th grade and he clearly entered academically at the top of the class there (even though they think their Catholic school is so much better academically than public school) I assure you Meadow is extremely academic and a much more nurturing environment than then the Catholic school in town.

I am so lucky that my son got to spend his elementary education in Meadow School. We recently moved to India for his 6th grade and I believe Meadow's commitment to academic excellence is the reason my son has adjusted well at his new school seamlessly. Meadow school staff and principal are wonderful and their care, support, encouragement and discipline is the backbone for its success. I would recommend Meadow to any parent.
