The school has been a wonderful experience — we have three very different kids and they’re all thriving and excited about learning!

Great experience! Very happy sending out child here. They push students to learn more. At this age they are sponges and the school has high expectations. I’d recommend this school to anyone.

Our two daughters attended this school for c. 3 years. Sr. Luz was the principal then, too. We really missed this school when we had to move. Brenda D. Shanley

I expected much more from a Catholic School. So much time and energy is used up on plays, performances, talent shows, non-academic activities. The administration is unresponsive to teachers needs and parent feedback. Compared to an over crowded public school, it is nice, but it is lacking academically.

ICS is a wonderful, small school with a family-like atmosphere and a devoted faculty & staff! I have 3 children that have attended ICS from K-6th & I couldn't be happier with the education they received academically, socially, and spiritually. For those complaining about the fundraising & the higher tuition costs, that's just the nature of catholic school in my opinion. I am a product of catholic school myself, so maybe I'm just used to the need for extra help via fundraising since I experienced that my whole life as a student too. What I know for sure is that my children have thrived & are still thriving at ICS!! They are not behind in math, reading, etc. If anything they have always tested ahead of their peers, public school friends, etc.!! I also think the more involved you are as a parent, the more you spend time at ICS and become a family with the students and the staff, the better experience you have. Like anything else you get out of it what you put into it, and a positive attitude goes a long way! I would highly recommend this school to anyone in search of an excellent catholic education in a unique, loving learning environment!

Nice Catholic school with average academics with too much priority is placed on fundraising versus classroom work. The kids have 2 school plays per year and the children loose valuable classroom time while practicing for the play. Participation for the play is 100% mandatory and all the practice is done during normal school hours (very big negative for us). Attendance to the plays is chargeable for the parents. Tuition is very high compared to other regional Catholic schools. Between normal tuition & mandatory fundraisers, ICS is about $1000 a year higher per student then competitor schools in Bath & Palmerton. ICS will nickel & dime you for everything where other Catholic schools will not. I removed my children from ICS to join another Catholic school nearby and we first noticed a gap in their Math, Reading & Science from ICS. That said the religion emphasis is exceptional. If you are looking for excellent Religion education then ICS is your place. If your emphasis in Math, Reading & Science and a more reasonable rate, them consider looking elsewhere.

This school is truly a family. The teachers are very welcoming and communicate daily with the parents. The academics are outstanding!

Immaculate Conception School is a wonderful place dedicated to the students in every way. It is academically rigorous, has clear-cut behavior requirements, and is a cut-above all other area schools. However, the sisters are so kind and loving, the school also has a kind, family feel to it. Our daughter started at a local public school and we were so disappointed in the level of education, communication, and attention to the students. We looked for a better education and setting and found that and more at Immaculate Conception School. As a public school teacher, I can tell you that the expectations and academics at ICS are far superior to the local public schools.

This school is nothing short of wonderful. The Sisters are caring and the Princiipal wonderful. Any child is blessed and lucky to be going there. The kids are actually one grade higher than public school. The kids do get disciplined for bad behavior but are also consistently rewarded for positive behavior.
