I am currently a college student at one o the local colleges. And I choose Bangor Child Care Center to do my observations or my classes. during this time I was able to observe everthing that occured in this preschool on a daily basis. I have to say that the teachers, and the directors are extremely attentive to the children, they are more than greatul to give a helping hand i needed to other teachers. And all o the children seemed to really enjoy themselves there.

We removed our daughter after witnessing several distressing events, including a staff member who yelled at other children and my daughter was afraid of. Additionally, my child had a fever of 103.5 that went unnoticed by staff.

I would have to disagree with the person before me. My child has attended this preschool for the past 3 years and this is by far the best school around. I love the teachers and the director is very energetic and down to earth. I feel very safe leaving my child here. For the first time my child actually wants to go to school and stay there. They are also great with allergy sensitive children. Way to go guys!!! We love you!!!

My child attended this preschool for around three months. During that time, he came home with unexplained bruises and bite marks! I went to pick him up on two different occasions, and the staff had actually lost him! He was later 'found' in the downstairs cafeteria by himself. They said that he was older (he was only 4 at the time!!) so he was allowed to leave the classrooms by himself and that it was ok-not to worry, he wasn't breaking the rules. I guess it's hard for one teacher to keep track of 20 kids at one time! The staff is very immature and unwelcoming. I would NOT recommend this preschool to any other parent that is concerned about their child's well-being. On the plus side, they do have a nice looking facility, it's just the staff that I would get rid of--or maybe the owners/director.
