My initial experience with Welch School, based on the state's report and scores, was not positive. However, after enrolling my two children (and with my third set to join next year), my perception of the school completely changed. The staff genuinely care for the students' mental and emotional well-being, creating a safe and welcoming environment. For younger students, it's most important that they love their school first. I'm not overly concerned about scores and grades because I firmly believe that when children love their school, teachers, and education, academic success will follow naturally. Don't judge the school solely by its scores. Once you become more involved and see how dedicated the staff members are, you'll realize how truly valuable this school is.

My kids went to the Welch k-5 and it was the best experience of their lives. The teachers are very dedicated and truly care about their children and their learning. The upper grades have high expectations and was a great preparation for Higgins Middle School.

Excellent school! My children attended this school from 2011-2014, from pre-k through 3rd grade. The principal at that time (Dr. Nappy) is the best principal I’ve ever met. She genuinely cared for the children and you could tell she loved her job. The staff and teachers are great, they involve parents in school activities. You can approach to anyone with any concerns you might have. I never had any problems while my children attended school, they love it and actually miss it. Teachers care about education and are always willing to go the extra mile to help students excel. I only have positive things to say, everyone is friendly, helpful and dedicated; the cafeteria staff, the nurse, secretary, maintenance, assist. Principal and teachers.
