I HATE THIS SCHOOL!!!! I am deeply disgusted with the School District for the way they handled replacing the Principal. They gave NO WARNING to the fanilies, students - NO ONE!! The Superintendent, Dr. Jones should be ashamed of herself for mishandling the children of Medford Elementary. I contacted the Commissioner in Albany over this.

My daughter has been going to Medford Elementary for 3 years now and I can only say great things about this school. They are way ahead of the curve implementing new aspects such as mindfulness and Yoga as we'll as dual language programs. The teachers are very dedicated and involved. Our older daughter has been to a much higher rated elementary school (8) in a different school district but I would pick this school any day over my older daughter's school. The extreme low rating of this school seems to indicate that the rating system of this website is fundamentally flawed.

Teachers are amazing and really have challenged my child to be on a 2nd grade reading level kindergarten!

Teachers are Second to none!!!! I have had two children attend Medford Ave and one just going in. The District has just changed the Administration and they have gotten rid of the Principal that everyone is complaining about. The PTA is Great and parents are very involved. The school provides a great service to the community.
