My children have flourished both academically and emotionally at SJF. Their experience with teachers, administration and peers has always been positive even during those rough middle schools years. Two of my children are now off to high school with fond memories of caring, proactive teachers and a level of preparation that has awarded them scholarships and honors classes. SJF was once rumored to be closing but with full classes and a state certified pre-K program the enrollment has risen. SKF certainly has been an important part of the community for over 70 years now. Don’t listen to negative unfounded comments. We love our #sjfonefamily!

SJF is a shell if its former self, sadly. The preschool program is substandard. The classroom is dominated by a big screen tv which is ALWAYS on, often with news or other programming chosen by staff. Children are frequently parked in a group in front of the tv. The room is dirty and the children’s diapers are changed on tables in the middle of the room. The staff definitely spends more time talking to each other about what they are going to have for lunch that day than interacting with the children. It’s a chaotic environment.

There are much, much, much better options in the local area. This school has been declining for years, and it surprises me greatly that it is still open.

Horrible Principle !!! Not parent friendly at all ! Tuition is high my daughter was there for 3 years and still could not read . I sent her to public school and she was reading within 3 months .. Need better teachers and better administrative staff s/ w the Archdioceses in Baltimore and they did not seem to care as long as the tuition was paid

With both of my children attending St. Jane's we have had so many wonderful experiences. The staff really seems to care about the kids and not just test scores. Their approach to learning really works for my kids and the class sizes are wonderful. I feel as if the kids get the help and attention they need to do well. Would recommend this to anyone.

St. Jane has done wonders for my family. My daughter has become an avid reader through the guidance of the wonderful teachers at St. Jane. She learned how to read in Kindergarten with the fun SuperKids characters instead of some boring beginner reader programs. Now that she is a middle school student she enjoys learning the skills she needs by reading books she enjoys. St. Jane has motivated her to read which has increased her comprehension and has helped her in all her other subjects.

The staff at St Jane's obviously care so much about all of the students. The Superkids program for reading is really fun and my child has enjoyed learning about the characters while reading the books all throughout elementary school. The class sizes are small but that is one of the reasons we picked the school.

This is a great place to be. The curriculum has changed a bit to include STEM across all of the subjects. My son had such a good experience today with his science experiments that I am thrilled that he is getting so much out it.

I have just graduated from St. Jane this year. Our class received over $150,000 scholarships to high schools. I will really miss St. Jane. I always felt safe and cared for there. The teachers all knew our names and were always willing to help us. I learned so much through my 8 years there. I will truly miss you St. Jane One of your students.

St. Jane Frances is a great school! The teachers go above and beyond the call of duty in the classrooms to teach their students and the students have fun doing so.

Faith centered school with small class sizes that cares about the development of the whole child; mind body and soul.

I have four children who attend this school. What a great place to see them thrive. They are challenged academically and morally each day. The teachers are caring, and invested in the education of the students.

I have ALWAYS been satisfied and pleased with St. Jane Frances School. My two children graduated from St. Jane and I am so grateful for that opportunity. The faculty was always helpful and caring. I felt they genuinely cared for the well being of my children. The school and staff are surrounded by a loving community. I seen many acts of kindness and helping others in need. I would not have changed a thing!

I am excited to start a new year at St. Jane Frances School. Despite and contrary to some of the less than enthusiastic reviews, parents would be hard pressed to find another elementary school, private or public, in our area that offers the quality education that St. Jane's does. Every year we hear from our kids who have graduated, and they tell us how well they are doing; many of them place in the higher level classes, and because of the foundation they received at SJF, they are well prepared for high school. I am looking forward to helping to build an even better St. Jane Frances in the years ahead.

School is financially sound. It's the pastor that refuses to cooperate. Don't expect it to open this fall. They're losing students in droves.
