Our two children graduated from St. Philip. We love this school. The school emphasizes kindness, respect for others, the Catholic faith, and academics (and has great sports and drama programs). Our kids got a great educational foundation that landed them in highly ranked universities. But even more important: St. Philip helped them become kind people with good values. My husband and I feel that sending our kids to St. Philip was the best parenting decision we ever made.

St Philip is truly exceptional in so many ways. The staff and faculty are dedicated and passionate about providing a high-quality education rooted in Catholic values. They create a nurturing and supportive environment where every student feels valued and encouraged to reach their full potential.Throughout the years, I have seen firsthand how this school has helped shape my four sons into well-rounded individuals with a strong sense of faith, community, and academic achievement. St. Philip offers a challenging curriculum that prepares students for high school and beyond, while also providing opportunities for spiritual growth and character development. The school community is welcoming and supportive, and it's clear that the faculty and staff genuinely care about the well-being of every student. As a parent, I have been able to be very involved in my children's education and have had numerous opportunities to volunteer and contribute to the school's mission.Overall, I highly recommend St. Philip to any parent looking for an excellent education for their children that is grounded in faith and values. I am proud to be a part of such a wonderful community for the past 15 years.

I can't say enough great things about this school. We moved to Pasadena 4 years ago. The school was highly recommended by my mother-in-law, who sent her 2 sons there, over 30 years ago. Even then, the school was good...and now it's even better. The staff and teachers are amazing, and really do a great job making school fun for the kids. The community, WOW. The parents, families, and all who are part of SPAS are out of this world. We've met some incredible life long friends at this school. We've shared vacations, milestones, and made some core memories with our SPAS family. We are married to this school, we love it so much, and so will you! We are so grateful to be a part of a school with so much to offer.

The St. Philip The Apostle School community is amazing! The Teachers and Staff work so hard to provide an incredible experience. Our kids look forward to being with their Teachers and classmates every day. We love so many things about St. Philip but one thing that stands out is the respectful behavior demonstrated consistently by everyone - Teachers, Staff, and Students are tremendously supportive of one another and want the best for each other. Thank you so much to the St. Philip community for enriching our lives. We are forever grateful!

We have been at St.Philips the Apostle for 1 year and absolutely love this school. We have children from TK-3rd grade. The teachers here are wonderful. They communicate regularly & effectively. They are patient with each individual child and understand that they all grow & learn at different paces. They are focused on teaching the whole child and value the extra curriculum opportunities like Spanish, PE, Music, Newspaper, Science Fair, Art, and offer outside of school day activities such as Chess Club, Drama Club, plus extra classes that fit different interests, plus Sports. Our school has it all! The parent community is involved with helping the kids, teachers, & the administration! The Family Community is amazing. There are so many ways to get involved and meet other families & make an impact in your childs education. St.Philip the Apostle School has figured out the recipe on creating a welcoming school environment for all, year after year!

We have been members of the SPA School community since 2013. Our oldest of three is now in a local private high school and aptly succeed in a competitive and rigorous academic environment. This success affirms the faith we have in the education our child received at SPA School. It’s also wonderful to see the human our child has grown into, in part due to the whole child education she received at SPAS. Our family recommends St. Philip the Apostle School without hesitation.

SPAS is an amazing school for my 3 girls. The community that we have built and friends we have made will last a lifetime. All the teachers are amazing. Kind, caring and really want the kids to succeed and will go out of their way to make that happen. Really couldn’t imagine being anywhere else.

St. Philip provides a warm, nurturing environment that has allowed our children to grow both socially and academically. The teachers & administration are fantastic and provide a well rounded education with a variety of auxiliary classes all beginning in Kindergarten - such as Spanish, science, art, and computers to name a few. The school community is wonderful - for both my children and for us as parents. We couldn’t be happier there!

I have two children at SPAS and our family is so happy with the school and community. Everyone on campus is supportive, helpful and cares about the livelihood of our children each and every day. The parents are all engaged and lend their time and talents towards making this school better every single year. The teachers truly care about their students and the curriculum is well rounded, including Spanish, art, music and science starting in TK all the way to 8th grade. The principal is involved in every aspect of the school and expects "kindness and respect" from every student and if that's not the case, she addresses it head on. I love how the middle school kids help the younger grades walk into school, or simply say "hello" to them in passing. Our children always feel so important that they know so many of the older kids through their "school families" where they do activities with one child from each grade, several times a year. We also love the two grades per class as 9-10 years is a long time to spend at one school! But if you are going to do it, this is the place to do so! Thank you SPAS!

Great, educated, strong teachers and staff at St Philip School. School community is very involved with the children and priorities of the school. School has many auxiliary classes to promote a higher level of education. Principal is pro-active and has been there for many years - which says a lot! I definitely recommend St Philip the Apostle school!

We have been at St. Philip since 2017 and have enjoyed every aspect of the school community. The teachers and staff are dedicated and caring educators who care passionately about all students. Our son and daughter have made great friends at the school and participate in the various athletic and co-curricular offerings. We feel blessed to be part of such a nurturing environment that allows both students and parents to feel welcomed. Go Falcons!

Both of my children have attended SPAS from kindergarten onward, with one now in HS and one still attending. I feel the work load and homework have always been age appropriate. A wonderful balance of learning and support IN school, and the time to have a fulfilling childhood OUT of school. My high schooler is now excelling under the heavier work load, as they are now old enough and totally prepared for it at this older age. Menial homework at younger ages is useless. Spanish is taught at every level by a live teacher - your kids aren’t put in front of a screen like at some Parish schools. Real, live Spanish lessons. Our kids now excel in HS Spanish - most making honors and level 2 & 3 Spanish as freshman. SPAS has amazing (no cut!) sports teams, drama, speech and debate and a core commitment to our Catholic faith. A Parish school is not for everyone, but if that’s what is right for you and your family - St Philip is absolutely the best choice in the Pasadena area.

My two girls attended St. Philip’s, both were accepted into their first choice of high school. They were well prepared academically. They were also prepared for leadership roles at the high school level. We feel lucky to be part of the St. Philip’s community.

I had multiple kids graduate from St. Philip, and I could not be more pleased with everything the school did for them. Parents need to understand, however, that it is a Catholic Parish school, so religion and faith formation are a big part of the curriculum. Academically, athletically, and socially, this school is on par with any and all of the local privates. If you are considering St. Philip, ask to see the recent/past graduation and matriculation statistics and judge for yourself once you've seen the incredible high schools and colleges St. Philip graduates attend.

We have three children at St. Philip and we could not be happier. Our children are thriving, and receiving such a well-rounded education. St. Philip does such a great job at educating the whole child, from academics, to religion and values. We recommend this school to our friends and anyone looking for not just a great school, but a wonderful community.

We love St. Philip the Apostle School. It is a nurturing environment with support for all types learners. My children adore their teachers and we all really appreciate the faculty and staff's efforts to provide a consistent and excellent education throughout the pandemic. One of our favorite aspects of the school is the fact that they provide extra curricular programing as part of the school day and after school. From art, music class, an amazing Spanish program, and even library information class, the students are receiving a great 21st century education. My children especially love the after school opportunities and participate in athletics, choir, and drama club.

We have had two children receive their education at SPAS and it has been wonderful. My children are different from each other and require different types support as students. They have both thrived educationally and emotionally. I am not sure of the comments made about bullying. From my experience, every action is taken seriously and responded to. There is no perfect school, but SPAS has been a great place to educate our children and build their character.
