My son started at the growing garden nursery school in October and it was the best decision we could have made for him. This was our first experience with him going into a classroom and we were apprehensive about how he would adjust. From the first conversation I had with Miss Mary Lynn I immediately felt like we would be making a great decision for our son. The entire staff is warm , caring, and genuinely interested in each of the students . Our son is excited to go to school every day and we love to get updates from Facebook and and see all of the fun projects they do each day . All the teachers are very open and inviting and make it very easy to talk to them. We are so grateful for the growing garden nursery school!

I started my children at Growing Garden after leaving a school that I loved due to location. It was one of the best choices I have made. My children absolutely LOVE going to school every single day. The teachers are creative and make learning so much fun!!! I know my children are safe and loved there. They come home every single day telling me all about the great day they had. I love Growing Garden!

I am honestly so sad that my son is already a first grader and unable to attend PreK at Growing Gardens. My daughter is treated like a family member . The teachers clearly love their job and their students and it shows. The art projects are awesome and this is just a group of women who sincerely take a vested interest in your child. I will be SO sad when June rolls around and we have to say good bye!

Our almost 5 year old and 2 year old began attending the growing garden this past September so that our daughter could participate in the transitional kindergarten program. We thought we were happy at our other school but after making the change I can honestly say we did not know what we were missing. Sending our children to the Growing Garden has been the best decision we could make for their early educational years. The director, Mary Lynn, and the teachers at the Forest Ave. school are amazing. They are dedicated, professional and engaging, with their love for the children shining through in every interaction. We are astounded by all that our children have learned in the past 2 months. The kindergarten program is fabulous and with our daughter already showing great improvement in her math, writing, and pre-reading skills we know that she will shine in public school kindergarten next year. Our 2 year old has made great strides with his colors, counting, and language as well as his social skills in such a short time (and only attending 2 mornings per week!). In addition, the art program has been fabulous, with everyone excited to come home and both show off and tell about what they have made. Our daughter has a food allergy and this has been handled amazingly, which puts us at ease and allows her to feel "just like" her friends. Both kids come home excited to share what they've learned and talk about their teachers and friends constantly. Better yet, they are excited to wake up the next day and go back to school, something we didn't always have in the past. We cannot say enough good things about this school or thank the teachers enough for all of their hard work!

Kids watch TV for long hours here. If you are serious about education and wish your child to be successful, this is not a right place. In the same price range, there are better schools in town.

Growing Gardens is an amazing part of my son's life. He absolutely loves all the teachers and I love knowing that he's being well taken care of. All the teachers are loving, knowledgeable and dependable, and they keep the facility immaculate. My son has already learned so much and has formed such special friendships at the Growing Gardens. I had visited a few different daycare centers for my son until I found Growing Gardens and never needed to consider a different location for my son. I highly recommend Growing Gardens and am so thankful to have found the perfect school for my son!!

The Growing Garden has been part of my family for years. They truly feel like an extended home for my children! Finding Ms. Marylynn and her teachers was a blessing in disguise. Because they spend so much time with each child, they noticed my daughter was getting short of breath while playing outdoors/running. She ended up needing nebulizer treatments 2-3 times a day, which they were able to treat her with everyday at school! (so helpful for working mom)The teachers and staff are so helpful, friendly and personable. They are always there for me when I have questions and never made me uneasy about leaving either of my kids even when special medical attention was needed. I know their safe everyday and receiving the best care and education around!

This is the best school around by far! They are like having a great family where I can safely leave my children. All of the teachers are overly qualified and I am sooo thankful for the director and how helpful she is. Look no farther, from one mom to another, this is the best place for you and your child!!!!

My son started the Growing Garden 9 months before he started Kindergarten . I could not believe how much he learned in such a short time. He had been in two other Daycare's before going to the GG. I wish he had started there sooner. My son is now 8 years old and he attended their Summer Camp program this year. It made my mind at ease knowing he was going to a loving and nurturing environment not to mention very clean. The staff and director are truly great caring teachers. MY son felt very loved there. IT is the best preschool / camp in town. Hours are great for a full time working parent who wants to go to work knowing that her kids are in the right place .

My son started the preschool program this September and I am impressed with the display of professionalism from my first tour of the school by the director Kim to the parent teacher night where the teachers spoke about the program and the kids. The teacher Ms Olga and her other teachers knew what was going on with each child. There is good structure and a 'mommy's touch and care' when mommy's not there. I feel comfortable leaving my child there because everything seems clean and structured and looks safe for my child.

My son was diagnosed with diabetes on October 4th. , 2013 , just 3 weeks before his 5th. Birthday ..while attending this school. School owner advised that none of staff is trained or have CPR certificate to assist my child with insulin injection. She asked me to carry his baby brother and come do it myself when needed !! When we decided to take him out, she kept the $600 deposit and wanted to keep also the $600 paid tuition of October ( he was in hospital for 3 days ) Claiming it is a bad economy !! Still keeping the Email What a nice gesture for an educator , my son diabetes supplies cost out of pocket around $300 every 2-3 months. Still in a shock from him having diabetes and more from such a act!

After researching several schools in the area, we decided on The Growing Garden for our daughter and three years later we have never looked back. Each day we drop her off, we know she is in a loving, nurturing environment while getting a great education. The teachers at this school truly make you feel like family and give a peace of mind that is very comforting. The school is also kept impeccably clean which was also important in out decision making. We love this school and will greatly miss it next year when our daughter starts kindergarten.

Both of my kids have attended growing garden and they love it! Teachers and directors are fantastic! Children coming out of their schools are far more prepared for kindergarten than other schools! As a parent, that is most important for me. I have seen some of my friends children who attended other schools nearby, and there is no comparison! Hands down a great school!
