Students, Parents, Teachers and Staff work together to create a safe learning environment for all students. I am impressed with the commitment to supporting all students and love the size of the school. All teachers know all kids.

My now 13 year old son went to Palmyra Elementary School from 4K thru 6th Grade. He always had GREAT teachers and the principal is fantastic. I LOVE the smaller school environment, where class sizes are smaller and the teachers and administration know all of the kids names. My son is very smart, and they worked to give him advancement opportunities both during and after school. They also have great "community" activities like the Sock Hop and Monster Mash, which are very fun and allow the kids to dress up and show off for their parents. My son LOVED it here, and I loved the wonderful community feeling and the diversity that allowed my son to be friends with kids from different backgrounds. He learned a LOT here.

The people in this school are really nice people, but this school is SO far behind others in Southeast Wisconsin. My son has made friends with kids from other districts, and I was shocked to see the things they were learning (and proficient in!) and the facilities and technology available - some of which my kids have never seen before. I didn't realize how bad it was until I compared the test scores here, and then started to listen to the complaints from parents of special needs children about how special needs children are tested and served. I've heard the staff blame parental involvement, but what I've seen is children who are frustrated with little motivation or excitement about school. This school has a long way to go.

Wow... I have been investigating the scores of WI and comparing them to other area schools of the elementary and I am really dissatidfied. I have had the oppuurtunity to visit other area schools and see how they react in clasrooms and etc. In comparison to Palmyra Elementary wowo again. I would like to ask all parents if you really would like to make the changes and amke the teachers accountable for what they chose as their career choice that we need to step it up and tke it higher. I personally think that the stae needs to come in and do an overhaul on many areas of the school. I agree the principal is working with what he has and is doing the best he can but he is one man working in his own supply and demnad and needs more support. This is where it is left to us. Please meet with us for coffee and lets bring all of this issues out.. Plese meet at The Hen House Nov 15 7 am sharp.. and help make opur school systems better together as a community effort!

Horrible communication, questionable disciplinary actions.Building itself is run down.Principal seldom follows through with what he says.Seems like for every grade,at least one 'poor' teacher.
