This school will watch your child be bullied until they have to leave and do nothing. Thanks for the PTSD and family trauma, sorry I can't rate this school any lower.

The best school could not do better

These teachers pour into my children a love for learning and others. It educates the whole child (heart, mind, body, and soul). I am so grateful for the dedication of these teachers and the sound education my kids are receiving. My kids are flourishing and understand who they are and how much they are loved. In a world that makes you question everything, it is nice to know they've been given a firm foundation.

My daughter attended Immanuel from pre-school through 8th grade. This experience was a wonderful foundation for leading a God filled life and being well prepared for public high school (Fremd). The faculty and administration of Immanuel are caring and prepared my daughter well!

We really like Immanuel. My children are happy, learning and progressing. The school has been accommodating. The emphasis on kindness is refreshing.

Both of my children attended ILS and I would HIGHLY recommend this school. The teachers, staff, and learning environment are second to none. The quality of education is head and shoulders above the public schools. This school builds character. When I picked my kids up after their first day (3rd and 6th grades) after previously attending the local public school, they said "that was different!". I asked, "good different?" and they said "GREAT different"! This school is worth every single penny. Do your kids a favor and send them to ILS. We have experienced both public and private, and there is NO comparison. ILS is a GREAT school.

We sent all 4 of our kids to Immanuel, K thru 8th grade. Sending them there was one of the best decisions we made. The Christian foundation they received at Immanuel carried with them thru their high school and college years and beyond. Hanging out with peers during those middle school years that were like minded with regard to having the same Christian morals and values gave them courage to stay true to those values and to seek out peers with similar values as they went thru high school and college. The education was great, but the Christian foundation they received and that was freely taught at Immanuel was invaluable to us as parents and the them now that they have the benefit of hind sight. We love Immanuel Palatine and will forever be Bobcats!!

I have 3 children at Immanuel and can honestly say that it is the best decision I have ever made for my family. My oldest transferred from public school and I can see the difference between public and Immanuel. It is worth every penny of tuition! The values and education they are getting will carry throughout their lives

Both of my children transferred from public school to Immanuel Lutheran. Immanuel had a huge impact on both of our daughters and our entire family. As parents at their previous school, the older our children became, the more we felt our role as parents was diminished. We had the total opposite experience at Immanuel. The teachers, pastoral staff, and coaches at Immanuel valued our role as parents and respected our family unit in entirely different and amazing way. We all felt a sense of community, invested in making our children the best people they could be.The most significant benefit for our family is that it brought our already close-knit family, even closer. If we had the choice to make again, we would absolutely, without hesitation, send our children to Immanuel. We continue to spread the word to other families in the area about Immanuel Lutheran and everyone who has sent their children to Immanuel based on our recommendation understands why we feel the way we do. They took the leap of faith and are now reaping the benefits, just as we did. We are often asked about the transition to high school. It was not difficult for my daughters. They met friends through classes and extra-curricular activities. They were placed in honors/AP classes and have achieved high honors. My younger daughter will start high school next year and she has been placed in honors math and science classes. They were both very prepared for high school by the education they have received at Immanuel.Even though my daughter does not go to high school with most of her ILS friends, she seems them all the time! They have created a strong bond by attending Immanuel. The class sizes are small, so it gave them the opportunity to really get to know all of their classmates and form bonds of friendship. It also taught them tolerance for their fellow classmates, because even if their classmates are not their best friends at ILS, they still are expected to treat everyone with respect.

We have been really happy sending our sons to Immanuel Lutheran School. My sons have been going to Immanuel since pre-school and they love Immanuel. My kids tell me that they can't wait to go to school. The teachers at Immanuel are loving, caring, enouraging, and attentive. The teachers view teaching as their life calling. You just can't find more loving and caring teachers than Immanuel teachers. Immanuel allows students to learn at different speeds. If my kids are more advanced in math, then my kids are able to learn advanced math from online courses. The in classroom use of technology is excellent. The kids use a variety of online applications as part of their learning experience. Not only Immanuel is excellent at academic teaching, but they also care about the students spiritually. The school teaches students about God and building a relationship with God. The public schools are not allowed to teach moral, biblical values. I am glad my kids get to go to a school where biblical values are taught and exhibited by teachers. Immanuel is truly a wonderful school for all kids!

We were sending our daughter to public school and really never thought of sending our kids to a private school but we did send our younger kids to there for their preschool program, which is excellent, and started to see just how much more attention the kids got there and how they were challenged and engaged so we switched our daughter to there. She was hesitant at first but after one day and the welcoming family feeling there she loves it and we have no regrets other than doing it sooner.

I teach in a public school and see many challenges that teachers and students face without a biblical foundation. Immanuel provides that in loving and gentle manner. My children absolutely love to go to school each day.

Excellent school with kind teachers who go above and beyond everyday! Small classes with a STEAM approach and hands on learning is the norm. There is a full day kindergarten program and a great after care program available as well!

Our two children attend Immanuel. Our daughter has gone there since Preschool and is now in 4th grade. Our son just started this year in full-day preschool. Both children have had wonderful experiences with caring, creative and kind teachers. We appreciate the smaller class sizes, individualized teaching and "at home" atmosphere for all. Immanuel is a wonderful place to raise children!

Although Palatine has great public schools educationally, we felt something was lacking in local junior highs that would help give my children a stronger moral compass in an increasingly complex world. Immanuel was the answer to my prayers - strong educationally and morally. One hour of Sunday School wasn't enough. And Immanuel has sports, fine arts, jr high electives, a science fair, history fair, math competition, etc so everything you want in a school plus much needed daily lessons in compassion. Best school decision we ever made! You want to send your kids here!

Our son has been attending ILS since he was 2.5 and he is now in 1st grade. Every year he has had the best experience academically, socially and spiritually. His teachers have been so wonderful each year! He has needed extra help since he was in PreK 5 and thankfully that was brought to our attention by one of his preschool teachers in a very loving way. Kindergarten was such a wonderful nurturing and growing experience for him, which I feel plays a big role regarding how a child feels about school for the many years ahead. I can tell you half way into this school year that 1st grade is going to be another successful year! I wish every child could have the same foundation that he has had because of ILS and the professional, caring and loving teachers! I can't say enough good things about ILS.
