Excellent school for children with special needs. The Hispanic community has grown over time and this school has provided the necessary help so that the Hispanic community can handle the English language and function effectively. The children can be seen happy to be at school and the staff is excellent. Everyone very friendly and eager to help.

Both my daughter's have attended this school since 2004. When Mrs. Roach was the Principle. Things were just awesome for many years. The teachers were more handson and attentive. By 2007, the school becan deteriorate. Principle Roch left and we had another great Principle in Dr. Brown who tried her best to be very hands on. But, I don't understand why she only lasted a year. This year, I finally, met the new Principle. But, I don't even know her name and she is not parent friendly, at all. Int the last two years, I have seen my youngest grades stay pretty good but I can see her learning abilities are not as advanced as they should be at this point being in 4th grade. N o homework. last year was filled with nothing but substitutes most of the year and I am hoping to get her into another school for next year. The front office personnel Ms. Olga is amazing. Both with the parents and the students. I don't know how long Cypress Park Elementary will be available as a school. But, I hope OCPS realizes there are some good teachers in that school and I hope Ms. Olga finds a school that will appreciate her better. Mrs. Angnel Blanco

I personally went to this school, my sister went to this school and my niece is going to this school, the staff is very friendly and the teachers work very hard to educate each student. This school has been in this community a very long time, and has gone thru drastic changes and overcome many obstacles. The teachers are so kind and attentive to the students. Through the years of watching this school grow, I would highly recommend it to any parent. This school provides the attention a child needs.

I don't think that this school is great. I have always to go over there to find out what was going on with my son, for my the teacher Mc Klusky of kingergarden is the worst teacher that my son have, she is really a sarcastic person, The Staff is the worst, they need good person there, it is so sad to see how much that school have change in least the 1 year. At lest the principal Mrs. Dr. Brown tries to help everyone and there secretary Mrs. Olga she is one of the few goodones in that school.. I change my son to another school and he is know wayyy better than before in Cypress Park elementary. I hope this help for you
