My son just transferred here from a private school he attended for a year + after we moved here and I so wish we had just started him at Blankner. It is an amazing school with caring teachers. The students are treated with care but there are also good expectations that keeps the school functioning in a safe and character building way. The principal is very involved and sets such a good tone for the school. They have great extras like music , art, and a STEM lab. They also have chickens and other animals in a learning lab. My son comes home so much happier and engaged than he was before. We are so happy to have him there.

Blankner is a terrible school with bullying, fights every day. The admins at the school do nothing but look away. The teachers try their best but can't do anythign other than little timeouts. The new Principal Dr. Kriel has countinued to limit educational freedom as well as student's abilities to exercise their rights. The dress code 2 years ago was decent but this year not only did they sell Blankner sweatshirts they also banned sweatshirts. You are required as a student to always wear a lanyard or get an immediate suspension. If you try to speak your mind your immediately sent the admins and punished. This school used to be great but is limited by a bad Principal, admins and policies. I feel bad for the teachers at this school.

Blankner is an amazing school, and this latest ranking of 6 by Great Schools means that his website has an agenda other than focusing on what matters. The teachers care so very much about the success of the students.

Blankner teachers are experienced and highly involved. Parental involvement is extremely high. Lots of fundraising efforts afford students to have access to technology and perks that other schools in the county do not have access to.

A public school that feels like a small, private school. The teachers, parents and principal all really care. It is a very organized school and never feels crowded, despite being K-8. Uniforms in a public school setting are such a great idea. I don't know why other schools don't follow suit. We love Blankner!

MRS. DANIEL - K - This is my daughters first time to school...... She never did day care or prek..... My daughter is a shining star. She's reading so well. She's doing great. I believe it is because Mrs. Daniel is such a great teacher. I volunteered there as well and everyone is so nice. It was wonderful seeing happy faces. I would love to get a house in this are all because of this school.

We moved to Orlando this summer and choosing a good school for our three kids was the number one criteria in choosing where to live. After visiting various areas and their schools (Lake Nona, Avalon Park, Winter Park, Dr Phillips, etc.), we decided on Blankner and have no regrests.... Fantastic area and an outstanding school for our three kids. We'll be here a long time!

The uncertainty involved with re-locating and starting over can be nerve racking. Having done the research on the schools in the area before-hand assured my confidence in this school's academic capabilities. What I was unsure about (yet) was the receptance in the school and community. Thankfully, within an extremely short period of time, I knew we'd made the right decision. Not only was it the right decision but the best. Between the school, community, churches, etc. all I can say is we're finally home. Long-term we can actually visualize our children growing and contributing to this area (as adults). Thanks Orlando!

The only reason we moved to Delaney Park was so my children can go to this school. For those who say they hated it, they obviously did not give it a chance. This is the best school in Orange County by a long shot!
