We are so pleased and blown away by the education our children have had at The Christ School. We have one child with learning needs and he has had an incredible experience, finally seen and loved by teachers.

The Christ School’s sales pitch to families without learning disabilities is their elitism. Their sales pitch to those WITH disabilities (despite having their Bridge Program) is that you have no recourse or hope for your child’s academic success without giving them $25k+ per year. At the suggestion that they can’t squeeze more money out of you, they find an excuse to unceremoniously part ways with your child to make room for a more lucrative family. This has been a story we’ve heard many times from other former Christ School families since having it happen to us. The good news is: there is hope for your child with dyslexia or other learning disabilities after TCS (or maybe even before you try TCS so you can save yourself the expense)! Don’t feel trapped and don’t go into financial ruin paying college-level tuition for grade school. There are many, many paths to your child’s success and we’ve met so many former TCS families who have been so successful after being kicked out or choosing to leave and now are so happy to have TCS a distant memory. And they have all found ways to do it without paying anywhere near what TCS demands.

My child has been at TCS for the last three years. We couldn't be happier with the warm welcoming environment :)

We had a terrible experience with The Christ School. They care more about spending the time on the children that are disruptive in class then taking the time to give the kids with learning disabilities the time they need. If you do not have the extra money to spend for addition help in the classrooms or over $20,000 a year, then they will ask you not to return. If your child has any learning disabilities be careful.... Your are family to this school until you are not then they turn there backs on you...

As a new parent to The Christ School I’ve been very impressed with the organization, communication and dedication to my children’s personal success and education. I highly recommend The Christ School to all families living in the Orlando area.

As a parent, educator and school psychologist, I have seen many schools in the area. TCS is hands-down the BEST school I have ever been a part of. My children are seen, loved, cared for, and educated in a way that is so incredibly intentional. TCS cares about students with learning "needs"- as well as those who are academically advanced. Our kids feel safe, loved, and at home. They truly give the best educational experience we've ever had. All the stars for this incredible school.

Our daughter is wrapping up her very first year at TCS and it has been a great one even with all of the new policies in place due to Covid. We sincerely appreciated the rapid response and transparency TCS provided us during these unprecedented times. While I haven’t been able to visit, I can see how much the teachers and staff care about the students and their families. It is evidenced by their first name recognition of not only our daughter but our son who doesn’t attend the school and their smiles and delightful voices in the carpool drop off and pick up lines. The academic and social skills our daughter has gained throughout the year are incredible and I am so thankful to Ms. Savage and her other wonderful teachers for that. We are excited to see what the future holds!

Our daughter is in her fifth year at The Christ School. It is because of the support from the school and their Student Support Center that she loves learning so much. I know that our relationship with her is much better at home because of the extra support we get through the school. I am forever grateful.I have taken advantage of every parenting event offered that I have been able to attend including those on positive parenting, social bridges, and learning differences. They have all been amazing. I sincerely appreciate every little bit of information we have gained through these events. I know that we have grown tremendously as parents from these experiences. We know our daughter is in the best school and wish that every child had the opportunity to receive the same level of education.

Our first year at The Christ School, and we are so glad we made the change. We have been to many private schools in The Central Florida area. This school has the package loving teacher's that push the children to do their best but also nourish.

This is our second year at The Christ School, and we could not be happier. We highly recommend it to families who are looking to build a strong Christian foundation for their children while helping them succeed academically.

My experience at this school is a 10 out of 10! It's a wonderful Christ-centered private school. Chapel every morning is that extra special touch that teaches so much more than bible stories!

We are so thankful to have found The Christ School for our daughter. She is being challenged academically and thriving in a loving, Christian environment. She is learning to be a leader who demonstrates integrity, respect, and thoughtfulness for others. We love the caring teachers and the welcoming community at TCS!

I was a teacher here. I was late to school often because I had to drop my preschool daughter at a different school (the preschool on campus is very expensive). I arrived about 15 minutes late consistently for this reason. However, I stayed until almost 6pm every night. I also coached an elementary sport as a volunteer, giving countless after school hours for practices and weekend hours for games (on top of teaching there full time and staying until 6 on non-practice days). My students performed extremely well on the standardized test in 2017. I had some of the toughest kids and made significant progress with them behaviorally and academically. The school leadership didn't tell me they were firing me until May of 2017. At that point in the school year, it was too late for me to get a full-time job at another Christian school in Orlando. I got a part-time job, but my family is now struggling financially. They let me go because of my mornings, but I gave 110%. Think about it. I stayed til 6. I coached for no extra pay. My students were successful. The parents and kids love me; many are still my good friends. The school leadership valued 15 minutes before school above all I gave. I was always in my classroom (which was set up the night before) before my students. I am leaving teaching over this; I have never felt more taken advantage of (they waited until the end so I'd keep working so hard), and I've never felt so under appreciated. I have a master's degree in teaching. My students and their parents all loved me. TCS kicked me out the last possible moment, and I was not able to recover from the blow. After all I gave, I was shockingly betrayed. There is no teacher loyalty here. 5 or 6 other teachers had the same experience in the spring of 2017. If you're job searching, be wary of The Christ School. Zero job security. They'll kick you out in a heartbeat, no matter how great of a teacher you are.

The Christ School is providing the perfect foundation for our daughter. With a balance of academics, faith, athletics, art - all centered downtown, providing the students with one-of-a-kind access to Orlando's best assets, within walking distance. The families and teachers are friends and partners in the growth and development of your children. They are small, which makes them flexible to grow and adapt to new practices, technologies and opportunities. We could not be happier and have already enrolled our youngest to start next year. As parents who are not native to Orlando, we are thrilled we found this local gem.

My four children are TCS alumni. The foundation they received at TCS launched them into a successful high school, college and post graduate career. Each are thriving professionals within their fields; they are compassionate, Christ-like adults thanks to their TCS foundation. There is no better TK-8th grade school in Orlando than The Christ School!

I am reminded every day how very special The Christ School is to our family and especially our children! The teachers, staff and parents make the school a warm, loving and educational community where core values and a love for God is emphasized. Thank you to The Christ School for all you do!!

The Christ school is everything but "Christ like". Their curriculum is lacking and ineffective. While some kids struggle (and have to pay for tutoring, because the 10,000 tuition is not enough) others breeze through. Had we not changed schools we would not have realized how far behind our children really were. Its a shame that most don't realize this until after one leaves and sees the difference. If we are mostly interested in a Christian education then we must know that their curriculum is all world views and they do not even incorporate the bible in their "bible" class. The rules in place only apply to some, it seems to depend on how many children you have at the school or how much you donate (besides tuition). Also, part of the registration process (which many are unaware of) is that we agree not to make negative comments about TCS or our children may be expelled. In addition, once you register you commit to paying for the full year, whether you attend the school or not, even if your child is expelled. Beware.A school that feels the need to threaten parents for saying negative things about them makes me weary. Not worth the money academically, socially or in Christian education.

There is a powerful sense of community at this school. It is present among the students, parents, teachers, administrators, after-school teachers, coaches, and even the staff at First Presbyterian Church of Orlando. The Christ School has service as one of its core values, and it shows in the way they all serve one another at every level.
