What a great school. My kids love it because of the staff. Feels like home. Gets kids ready for high school and beyond.

Terrible school for Jr. High students. The principal doesn't talk to Jr. High kids with the idea in mind that they're becoming young adults and are very independent. The Jr. High teachers are all very amazing at teaching and connecting with the students, but most of the specials teachers fail to make class fun for older students merely because they do not understand well enough that Jr. High students are teenagers and are extremely independent and are smarter than they may appear. Also, recess and genius hour were a poor addition to the students' schedule, as now Jr. High will have more late homework.

We would not recommend St. James Seton School and Church. It has a culture that is not accepting of new students and families. Academics are substandard to other Catholic schools in the area. The principal's philosophy is that the teacher's have no faults - rather the children. The principal spends his time encouraging parents to recruit new families rather than focusing on ways to improve the school and academics. Big loss to this school was the departure of the Assistant Principal, Ms. Paulette Thiesen. Research this school carefully before sending your children...--A concerned parent

St. James Seton helps the whole child. We have a full time counselor, and we have a full time nurse. We do not tolerate bullying of any kind. And our academics are incredible. This year, I think we had about 40% of our 8th graders get high school scholarships. My 4 children love St. James Seton School!
