We are at our wits end. We have watched our child's grades decline, test scores decline, and attitude about school decline. We have had to basically home school our child to teach fundamentals that should be already be learned, but are not. It has caused so much friction in our household because our expectations are so much higher than the school. We have been told by administrators and teachers "Boy, your child is lucky to have parents who care," as they look at us like we are crazy when we hold our child accountable. If your child attends this school you will need to be diligent to make sure they are not falling behind in all areas of learning. Check the online grade book religiously, or you will never know what is going on with your child academically. You will need to be an advocate for your child!

They don't take bullying serious. They have nothing in place to protect the students, only the staff!

OMS is an awesome family friendly learning site! My children are so happy to have a safe secure learning environment. The teachers are amazing

Okmulgee school is terrible the teachers are all bully. and they point there fingers a the ones who have more problems because they don't like them.

I believe Okmulgee Middle School is one of the well rounded schools. I happen to be an 8th grade student that attends this school. The students are very friendly and the teachers are people you can open up too. I love the fact that our student body, teachers,and parents can have a place to speak about what we think about todays schools.
