    Lots of great things going on st this school. Sixth grade students were treated to a special Honors Luncheon to recognize their achievement at semester. The Student Council just sponsored a Valentine dance. The choir teacher just took a large of students to perform at Circle the State in Song. All 3rd grade students were treated to an evening at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center to see the Nutcracker just before Christmas. When many surrounding districts are cutting the arts, Okmulgee Public Schools are making sure students receive a well rounded education.

    My children had a great experience at OES. They had amazing teacher that we could not be more pleased with. The third grade experience was the best transition I have ever seen those ladies ROCK! The administration and the teachers seem to really care with a sincere heart about each and every student!

    What a GREAT school! The #bulldogrising campaign that OPS started has lead to an entire community on the rise with the #Okmulgeerising campaign. This school is truly the heart of the community. The strategic location of each school site has added to the community feeling in all of the four districts the city is divided into any other combination would leave out a select population of the community way to go OES

    Okmulgee Elementary is a great school with great staff, students and parents. My children all loved going to school there. Several kids from my church attend school there also.
