Both of my children have grown personally and academically at Greenland year after year. The teachers have been great and we have had nothing but positive experiences.

My son who is autistic went to school at Greenland for a while and we absolutely loved it. The teachers and supporting staff are wonderful and dedicated to their students. My son for the first time made friends, he learned more there than anywhere he'd ever been because he wasn't kept in a self-contained classroom but was mixed in with all the children and was able to learn from them. If the Army hadn't told my family it was time to move on I wouldn't have left and it broke my heart to make my son leave a school that he would have thrived in. If you're researching schools in Oconomowoc I strongly suggest moving into an area that Greenland Elementary serves, this will be a wonderful school for your children.

Love this school and the amazing staff! They've done so much for my son, and are willing to help with anything we might need!

How do you explain the drop of 20 to 30 percentage points in Reading and Math over the past two years?

We have 2 children at Greenland-3rd grade and kindergarten. In the 4 years we've been a part of Greenland, I have nothing but high praise for the teachers, staff, and school community as a whole. We feel blessed that our children are challenged academically. We feel equally blessed that our children are challenged to be kind and respectful to those around them. The dedication our kids' teachers, the principal, and staff have shown in fostering these fundamental life skills has been unwavering. I wish every family's school experience could be as positive as ours at Greenland has been for us!

I am disappointed by the seeming lack of commitment from the teachers. Also, I have offered to volunteer several times this year and have been turned down multiple times, as extra help is just not needed.

Both my children attend this school and we love it. One of my children has special needs and the school bends over backwards to accommodate this.
