I personally like this school, the teachers, and the staff. Although it does have some problems. The teachers are overly rude sometimes and deans and staff only listen to teachers. They don’t hear the students side of the story. The dress code is way too harsh as they with take any hoodie or sweater that isn’t the school uniform, even if the colors are right like navy blue, they will either tell you to take it off or take it. Some good thing about this school though is I can achieve things and teachers help me with it. Most of the teachers are nice to the parents and students. They have a cafeteria, a band and drumline. There is a lot of good opportunities at the school and kids will succeed with the right learning. The teachers want to help the children learn and grow in achievement. This school is a great option for parents who want a great, safe school.

As a student at this school i respectfully hate this school and would go anywhere else but here. Most of the staff act nice to the parents but are rude and disrespectful to the students. this website has not been updated in a while so i will update it a bit. the school is predominantly, black and Hispanic. there is only a handful of Caucasian children. The teachers are not even encouraging especially during testing. They try and scare us into do well and as you can see it is not working. Our scores are still average or below average in 2024. all the staff do is yell especially the deans. one day i was walking my little brother to class but is was a little late so one of the staff yelled at me and told me stop walking him to class. did i ? no. Another incident is during spirit week we were told to dress like a tourist going to Hawaii. I wore black flared tights and a shirt with pink Hawaiian flowers on it. I got dress coded because they did not specify that we weren’t supposed to wear what I was wearing. They didn’t even tell me what I got dressed for. They just sent me home. another thing about this school is that the deans and staff only believe the teachers. even if the teacher is over exaggerating, the story or even lying, they will still believe them, even if a student or several students say the opposite. I do not recommend the school. Your child will be miserable.

The administration truly cares about their teachers and creates a positive environment in which to teach. The teachers all work very hard to differentiate learning in order for students to reach their highest potential. I have been teaching for over 20 years and have taught at RCCP for the past 4 of these. I nearly quit teaching due to poor administrators at my previous school, but came here and have been able to regain my love for my craft.
