OMS isn't really bad overall it's an ok school I mean is any other school better? but the teacher cares about the student's education and also their ACR (All Complete Retreat) which means for every class period you're passing you get to chill in the courtyard and don't have to go to class they have bouncy houses gae arcades etc. but it's only at the end of each quarter and it's only a day so that's not a problem, OMS is a good spatial environment and I mean of course there are fights but its middle school so but OMS is really organized when it comes to PTA oh and did I mention they have summer zone and sometimes we have fields trip during the summer to Seaworld, Aquatica and H20, Boys and girls club, and STA. But yea I would recommend Ocoee Middle School "OMS".

My experience at this school has been pretty mediocre since I've been there. Leadership is at poor quality. It seems the entire school follows the culture of the principal: seems stern and disciplined, but once on the inside observing, it is the complete opposite! Several of faculty/staff members like to baby the students, but ironically...also like to give them the freedom of adults! Cellphone usage in class is a NORMAL thing at this school....and it is truly pathetic. Disrespect at this school is like the sky being blue. And don't call a student's parent when they're giving you problems, oh no. More than likely it's going to end up being an attack on you!! Ironically, they place emphasis on the no-bullying policy but I have heard so many testimonies from students! The deans at this school (suppose to be stern, greatly respected by the students)? No, none of that there. They're more buddy-buddy with the students than grade-level leaders. It is so bad with the deans that most of those students actually enjoy going to their offices! What kind of mess is that!?? Dress code is a complete mess. Pants with huge holes in them...literally crop tops!!! They all just happily go to class, nothing happens!!! Academically, the laziest students I've ever witnessed in my life! Even when you help them out with constant bonus points on assignments, and grade for completion versus accuracy! These students DON'T CARE! At this school, you'd find a small percentage of students (and a mid-size percentage of faculty) doing exactly what they need to be doing.

Poor communication style from teachers and administrators. This school tends to act like students there are in 1st 2nd and 3rd grade instead of 6th 7th and 8th grade students. When communicating with parents they seem to leave out important information out that should be advised accurately.

I give this school a 10 out of 10. My son is in 7th grade. He is straight A's in every class, both 6th and 7th grade so far. He has all advanced classes. His teachers are amazing. ( he enjoy's his classes) The communication from the faculty is top notch. I am so pleased and thankful for this great experience. Mr. Davis (principal) is involved and does not stay tied to a chair in an office. He is a great Role model.

Our son received a quality education at OMS and our daughter now attends and is challenged adequately. A little disappointed in the way some of the decisions are made... but nothing can be done about that. Academically, I am pleased.

It seems as if, reasonable punishments do not apply to this school. They overlook the choices that we, as a student body, make, and just rush into unjust consequences. Yes, I am guaranteed privileges at this school. The access of technology is amazing, but I am really disappointed with how the staff act towards the students. How can the school treat us like toddlers, but expect us to behave like proper adults? What kind of principle does this school even stand by?

This school is ill-preparing the students...they are too consumed with technology and "showing off" for the public. They have teachers that don't even teach anymore! They just do updates on the ipads...really?
