So pretty much with my experience being a student here. There are security restrictions, but. It's not high enough security like every period there are at least 6 people smoking in different halls and there are bugs just walking around and this school is very strict such as if they think you are suspicious or anything like that they will search your bag and that is a violation of privacy due and it's just because of someone's opinion.

Forgot to mention something in previous review…as far as good test scores, those are also given to the students. As well as answers to said exams. As a matter of fact, the principal was calling students in office and telling them if they attempt the practice exam, or some test, and get a d or higher, she guarantees them a passing grade on testing as the school needed to raise its scores!! I was shocked!! Teachers tell the kids to do things but when kids get caught and mention that another teacher told them to, it’s ignored. Much like when kids show up for class and there’s no teacher, they’re told to just go sit in another class!! I have seen and experienced all of this. It’s quite sad.

This school is very disappointing. The staff doesn’t seem to really care much when it comes to effective communication with parents. I feel they need a whole new staff starting with the principal.

As a parent every time I went to the office I had to deal with the front desk employee who is not only rude but has a down right appalling attitude. Towards students she is worse. She does the very minimal in assisting with questions and expects for everyone to automatically know how their school system works. This alone sets the sentiments and tone of the schools attitude towards their students. I hate very often that from staff members in the media room etc. that they have 2800 students blah blah. To me this is a excuse for them to not even try to help anyone or do their job to the best of their ability. If I can get this impression as a parent that only visited occasionally imagine what the students are taking from these examples

Not at all impressed with this school. My son who has tested borderline gifted, has barely passed (simply because he is lazy), no one cares, guidance doesn't reach out... they just don't seem to even care about the students. I've been told by my son and his peers that many of the teachers don't even teach - seriously. Just have not seen anything good or productive come out of OHS for our son.

I would not recomend going here to be honest the school is nice and everything but I dont feel like the teachers really want to be there. Not saying that I do to but I atleast try to act as if I want to be.The teachers dont keep good communication with you and I dont like how they just throw you into Ap classes and not having any prior knowledge about the class.I also feel that the teachers dont thoroughly teach the lesson well and this whole "quiz week in every class" IS NOT helping our grades The school just needs a whole new outlook on teaching, we need something to motivate us and make us feel important.

The school have block days meaning your in class for 2 hrs and only get through 4 periods a day. And on top of that they give you mac laptop. At first it was cool but than the teachers stop teaching and you had to do everything on your own. Getting in trouble for the assignments you don't understand. And there's no retake on test or quizzes so if you fail you fail. Teachers should go back to regular teaching and seven periods a day routine in my opinion and we would progress even more till than we struggles as students to progress.

I would like the school to improve by getting new stuff. Also I would like the school to improve by becoming an A school and making the school kind of be like college
