Roosevelt middle school where shall I start. I actually went to this school. I'm 32 now. And my seven siblings also went here. Now it's my daughter's first year. It's a big difference from when I went. And especially these 10 yrs approx that mr. Principal Hong has been there. Has been positive energy. And he's always available to hear us parents out. He also has such a great staff behind him. Whom truly care for Roosevelt. Don't let the bad rep fool you. And don't listen to what everyone says. See for your self. Roosevelt is thriving and trying to just go up and up. As long as parents stay vocal as well. And try to be positive and give your feedback because they want to know. Also the teachers so far that I've dealt with for my daughter. There just the best. Shout out to Ms. Toumi, Brooks, Allison, samana, bell, I love them all. They are all dedicated teachers. And I'm glad my daughter has such great support from. Her teachers. I can't wait to see more positive from Roosevelt. Every school h as s good and bads but I feel the good out weighs the bad for sure. Thanks Roosevelt for the great year start off so far.

This is my 6th grade daughter's first year there and she's very happy attending Roosevelt. It's safe the 6th graders are separated from the 7th and 8th graders for class and for lunch .

As a volunteer at Roosevelt for the last 4 years, I have seen the dedication of their staff, and their unwavering commitment to putting students at the heart of their work. Roosevelt serves as a model school in the district and statewide in their work to meaningfully engage students and parents, to build trusting relationships, and to value both academic and social emotional learning for all students.

Roosevelt is a great and well maintained school. I'll actually be graduating this year (Class Of 2014). I had an excellent 3 years there, and I would recommend many to attend Roosevelt. Teachers and staff actually care about you and want you to succeed, they'll always give you that extra push even if you need it or not. Some might say "oh well when I went to Roosevelt back in the day it was a horrible school!) No! Over the years I've been there they've made very good improvements. Those who will be attending that's great and I wish you the best! Those who are undecided I would recommend you to go. Plus they'll probably have way more better and good improvements by then!

Hello, I'm currently a student attending ''Roosevelt'' Junior High School, as well. I'm writing this paragraph from both experience and inferences, as I've been attending this specific school for three years or so. The majority of the teachers are outstanding, in general, however there's one specific teacher who lacks both perseverance and leadership, she's even resorted to physically hitting students, which includes me as well, I won't go into more information however, as it's irrelevant. The principal himself is reasonable and a good person, but however he lacks leadership as well, as he slacks quite frequently. The assistant principals are absolutely blatant and unreasonable, they'll assume absolutely both atrocious and ignorant assumptions, not to mention blatant as well. The bathrooms at one point were absolutely horrid and unsanitary, In all honesty.
