I feel like this school is very racist. I have gotten a racist joke made to me and the teacher laughed in my face. I felt that was very disrespectful and disgusting. The assistant principal yells good morning in your face until you say it back, she will follow you around the whole school until you say good morning back. The principal loves to nit pick. He always has something smart to say and I feel very uncomfortable around him. My literature teacher does not teacher me anything, she hands me packets and expects me to know what to do. There is kids with autism and I see them getting laughed at every day which i think is very disgusting. There is fights every school year faithfully. Do not send your kid to this school especially if they’re black

My son gets bullied everyday by students and teachers because of his autism. The new vice principal won't let you walk to tou class without saying good morning the Spanish teacher won't even let you talk to your friend during lunch and he is so strict. They made me come all the way over to the school just to get there phone because he was talking to me about a family problem.

Please do not send your children here whatsoever the amount of fights in a month is horrendous. The inclusion is terrible if a friend group doesn’t like you kid they will be very nit picky about them and when the school gets reports about stuff like this the simply push it under the rug a girl was horribly beaten and the school suspended her and the other girl for 1 WEEK it is not a good environment for your kid/kids. Don’t get me started with some of the teachers they have about 3 really good teachers and then the rest are not the best and then the tech teacher takes her job very seriously (a little to seriously) and picks on certain girls to dress code on a daily bases and will not take anything whatsoever. The principal and asst. principal do absolutely nothing about serious situations accept suspending students.

Staff doesn’t do anything about racism and bullying It’s just a “Slap in the wrist” or a “Talking to”. My experience with lunch this year is way better compared to last year, The seventh grade lunch monitor was the Spanish teacher and he’s pretty cool overall during class but during lunch he was unnecessarily mean. He still is to the seventh graders this year but, eighth grade lunch is way better since the lunch monitor isn’t super strict. The students in my grade are absolutely brutal and you’ll get made fun of for being yourself, having special interest, or acting “weird” I’ve honestly never dreaded coming to school until last year (7th Grade) There’s so many fights and this is a school in a SUBURBAN area. My teachers have honestly been amazing expect for two the 7th and 8th grade social science she barley teaches anything and sits at her desk for most of the day. The other classes have gotten WAY further and have done many projects so far while we haven’t done a single one. Next are the gym teachers they always seem to have a attitude with you especially the 8th grade teacher, he favors sporty kids or popular girls and lets the popular kids stand around at his desk and talk to him and not get yelled at. Yet if i stood around he’d literally yell at me for it which is unfair and honestly kind of weird. Overall don’t send your kid here unless you want them to go through three years of hell.

This middle school experience is solely dependent on your teachers, it’s like you are rolling a dice. My experience was very good, all MY teachers cared about me and the staff were very respectful to the student, but many of my friends said that the staff were very rude to them but they were rude to the staff. Some teachers where bad, but the majority were good. As a former student, I’d say this school isn’t the best, but I’m grateful for going here. P.S my 8th grade math class WAS THE BEST. The math support teacher WAS THE BEST and I learned so much in their class. I love my old math teacher.

My son gets bullied every single day, there are plenty of fights, whenever something happens to my child the principal does not care and does not do anything, the teachers barely teach the math teacher is super rude and is the worst out of all them. They don't do anything in gym the only thing physical they did so far was DodgeBall, a month ago there was a threat with a gun, so I would not recommend the school, so I will not put your kid into the school.

This school is truly one of the weirdest double edged sword schools I’ve ever been to. Some teachers (mainly advanced but a few required class teachers) are incredible, always there to help, have a sense of humor and are there for the students. Others, and I really mean this, teach through fear, going berserk on students for asking questions, making fun of students for getting the incorrect answer in front of the class and even spewing conspiracies to impressionable kids. When your students are afraid of you, you have failed as a teacher. Not to mention the students who think shouting slurs out loud in class is funny, and henceforth do it at any opportunity they can. Staff refuses to handle bullying issues, giving students who verbally harass other students “talking-to’s” which do nothing, but suspend students for using self defense or even pacifistic-ly sticking up for themselves.PLEASE, PLEASE THINK HARD ABOUT ENROLLING IF YOU HAVE THE CHANCE.

This school sucks. If you have a choice to transfer your kid to another school, please do so and don’t even bother. The students here are absolute garbage and treat anyone different like a waste of space. Children repeatedly make racist, homophobic and insensitive jokes about people with learning disabilities and depression. Not to mention the teachers, who don’t do anything to prevent this and the children who do get punished only get a slap on the wrist and a “stern” talking to. A lot of the teachers have no idea what they’re doing or what they’re supposed to be teaching, most of the teachers won’t help you with work and will instead threaten/and or blackmail you into doing it. I’m one of the children who sees the counselor and our counselor has enough on his hands, as there’s over 30 students who have to see him, since all of the students here act like it’s a free for all and constantly harass, bully and treat other students like garbage. I’ve got a lot of home and personal problems but those are all swept aside as I’m being tormented for being short or for the 1 day that my hair didn’t look /perfect/.

I am one of the 2017 graduates of Hille middle school and I can honestly say that I completely hated every second of it. Its not the 'Oh I hate school because i'm a kid' speaking, Its the fact you can find teachers who just don't care at all. They try to, but just cant fake it enough. I will however state that my 6th grade year was not as bad. My 8th grade year was trash, I was bullied constantly and anytime I would stand up for myself I'd get in trouble and the bullying would get worse. I've gone to both of the principals and the professional concouiler for it and all they got was a "talking to" they didn't call me in with them and sort anything out it was always "oh don't do this again." and that stupid garbage. They never got into real trouble because they were academically advanced and I wasn't, and because of them I now suffer from severe depression and anxiety. I'm what they call 'emo' no one understands its their fault I'm like this and neither do the teachers. they just don't care.
