Kimberly Heights is for Kindergarten students. There is also a Pre-K program, but it is only for a select group of children that are "at risk for academic failure", based upon a screening process. They are equipped with many different professionals to help if your child is in need of a psychologist, speech therapist, etc. They also work with children that have limited to no English proficiency. My son made many friends quickly, LOVED his teachers, learned a tremendous amount and was at the top of his class within a few weeks. The parents are asked to volunteer 2 hours every week, although many don't. My only complaint is, children that are in their second year of Pre-K are in the same class as those in their first year....For Example my son was doing the exact same things in class he was the previous year. He could count to 100 while the 1st year children were working on 1-10. Also, I'd say 50% of the kids couldn't speak English. Alltogether KH is a great school if your child needs that extra help, or to socialize.
