The administrative changes that have taken place at St. Dominic the past few years have really turned this school around. It has become a top notch private school in St. Charles County. I couldn’t be happier with everything they have done to educate my child in all aspects of life.

St. Dominic isn't a good school, but it isn't God awful either. I've recently heard a lot of student comlaints about snapchat being blocked and about not being able to do somethin as simple as carrying a backpack! There are very few great teachers at this school, Mrs. Thomas being one of these few. Socially, it can be hard. The kids are cliquey and they talk about each other awfully. The rules here are strict and academics aren't good. This school needs to focus more on giving kids an education than wheter or not their skirts are to short or if they are carrying a backpack.

My children thrived at St. Dominic. There were so many options to choose from that they each were able to find their own path. There is a very strong sense of community that makes each child feel apart of the school. Each of my children received some really nice scholarships for college and found themselves well prepared to handle the academics at their universities. Thank you to the teachers, staff and administration for building such a great place for kids to grow and learn.

What a wonderful experience our son had at this school! The students, the teachers and the administration really live and breath Christian values. The academics are top notch - the school makes it easy for the kids to explore and learn at their own ablility. We have appreciated the range of AP and honors classes offered. Our son now has several excellent university to choose from due to the education he received at St. Dominic's.

Year after year Dominic keeps losing its best teachers and coaches. My son's favorite coach and teacher left thisyear. Now, during this senior year he will not have the support of his closest teacher.

St.Domininc offers the same AP and honors course selection you d find at any local public school. There are fewer sports at Dominic than other area schools; for example, no wrestling, no field hockey, no ice hockey, etc. There are student clubs but once again you may find more at the local public school. The student population is 99% white, staff population is 100%, so diversity will not be experienced through the school. Cost for four years is around 40,000. Drama club remains strong but performing arts center remains unfinished after three years of construction. Similar drama programs can be found at local public high schools only with finished performing arts centers.

Behind the times when it comes to course selection. The school touts AP and Honors courses like they are the only ones to ever have them. Some of the best teachers have been cut.

My child gained so much at St. Dominic's! A warm welcome was given by very caring staff, teachers and students. We found their science, math and language classes to be further ahead than the priviate school previously attended. The teachers are absolutely the best.

My daughter is finishing her senior year and has had an excellent 4 years at St. Dominic. Her classes were set up to help her gear up for college as soon as she came in as a freshman! She has had wonderful guidance and instruction. The teachers provide many opportunities to explore and excel in the many different areas of study. Honors classes are encouraged as a way to further prepare and get advanced learning in subjects relating to a future degree. Extra curricular activities abound with magnificent performing arts programs, state ranked sports programs and many varied and philanthropic clubs. We would encourage any seeking quality education to visit St. Dominic to see the great work and growth going on everyday for themselves!!

Do not sent your child to St.Dominic. Several top members of faculty in the Science, Math, and English departments have left in the last two years. These teachers prepared me for college in a way that put me above the rest of my college competition. Their replacements have been a regular rotation of first year teachers who leave after one year than are replaced by another first year teacher. Course selection hasn't change in 10 years, there is a much wider selection of courses at another private school or even local public schools.
